    8-13... and that's with 5 games against Atlanta, 6 against Philly, 7 against the Miami Jetes.

    They've had 3 games against good teams so far.

    I read that they haven't had a lead in 8 games.

    Syndergaard leaves in the second after grabbing his right arm.

    Good thing he refused that MRI.

    Reliever Sean Gilmartin got his first career extra-base hit and first career RBI, but also allowed 5 runs. After the Mets went down 6-5, a sac fly and Anthony Rendon's second home run made it 10-5. Rendon is 3-for-3 with 6 RBI.

    1. Why would Thor reject an MRI. Is he Castrophobic?
    2. Could he have further damaged it yesterday by pitching if that MRI did show damage that would have led to the team Doctors ordering rest/skipped start.

    I am not an internet Doctor. Just wondering what is the motivation for a player to reject an MRI paid by team insurance and can a team say no and order that player to get into the machine?

    Gee, your most valuable baseball asset who happens to throw the ball with his arm has bicep discomfort but says "Nah, no thanks" to an MRI.

    Do you
    A- Tell him, too bad your appointment is at noon.
    B- Let him pitch and risk injury without diagnoses?
    Baseball is life;
    the rest is just details.

    Seriously even if he doesn't want it, you shut him down for precaution.

    Exactly. Alderson said he can't force him into a Tube. No but you can bench him until he does.

    Jose Reyes had 5 RBI for the second time in his career and the first time against an NL team. He had 5 RBI against the Angels on June 15, 2003. That was his 6th career game, and today was his 1,649 career game, so he went over ten seasons worth of games without having 5 RBI.

    Is that why Harvey was suspended?
    David Ortiz tested positive for performance enhancing drugs in 2003.
