Oh, agreed. Of course he just gave one back.

If they ask who was our star, give them 25 names, and if you forget our names, just tell them we were Yankees.

Wow. It's just constant pressure on both teams for four innings now.

Isnt that the fourth triple in this game? I wonder if EvanJ can come up with something about 4 triples being hit in one postseason game?

I don't know if I want this to end so I can go to bed or if I want Colorado to score four in the 9th. This game has been too entertaining. The offense has been awesome. Not so much the pitching though. Which normally defines the best teams.

They just said it hasn’t been done since the 1903 WS

It would be great if Rodney blew it. Not many other pitchers I like watching fail more than him.

I think Blackmon swung on balls 3 and 4

All well. Dodgers-Diamondbacks should be good. There’s a rivalry brewing there

Yeah that Blackmon at bat was bad.

Well, fun game either way. Like you said, October baseball. Great stuff.

And apparently the 1903 WS triples are suspect. The Pirates sold outfield standing room seating in left field which was "roped off". Any ball going in there was a ground rule triple of which the series had 17.

They just carried Nunez off the field. Apparently fell after running to first in the first inning

Cleveland's Tyler Olsen became the third pitcher to pitch at least 20 innings without allowing an earned run. The first two times it happened were the Philadelphia Phillies' Harry Coveleski in 1907 and Earl Moore in 1908.

The four most populated cities in the US are New York, LA, Chicago and Houston. Last four teams standing. Will be interesting to see if ratings are up or if it doesn't matter.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around that 5th inning of last night's Nats - Cubs game. I was at the game and it was just surreal. Scherzer was cruising. 2 quick outs and 2 strikes. Then a bloop single, and the wheels came off. 4 runs in. The stadium was shell shocked.

I had no idea that Houston was the 4th most populated city in the US. Learn something new every day!
