Cynical me says that's Tebow trying to score points for his future in politics. Maybe not that, but this is all part of some long game here.

You wouldn't make that mistake in the first year of Little League where you actually faced live pitching.

This is the lineup of the Colorado Rockies on pi day (yesterday). Pretty neat. pi, for those of you who do not have it memorized, equals 3.14159 26535 89793 23846 26433 83279

OK, but it was done by the team.....so less cool, but still cool.

Plus now I get to do to somebody's Facebook what you just did to me!

The injury bug may have hit the Rockies hard this spring training but the Blake Street Bombers aren’t letting the mounting woes spoil their fun. The Rockies on March 14 celebrated Pie Day with a Photoshopped image of the team standing on the foul line during the National Anthem prior to a spring training game.

If the Yankees tried that, they'd have to Photoshop a whole bunch of dead and retired players into the lineup.

Didn't he have a brief stint as Yankee manager? I wanna say late 80s.

Don't you listen to Michael Kay and Leiter doing YES telecasts? At least 6 times a year they bring up how Dallas Green let a then rookie Al Leiter throw 6,453 pitches in one game which resulted in Leiter hurting his arm.

Well, once per each Leiter broadcast, and sometimes more, so six may be an understatement.

Sorry to nit pick but Leiter wasn't a rookie in 89. He pitched 57 innings in 14 starts in 88. Toronto sure got damaged goods after that trade for Barfield.

Was that before or after Don Mattingly taught Michael Kay about weather vanes?
