It's 'Yanks' over here in Scotland although there was a US Navy base in the nearby Holy Loch and 'Americans' was used locally the most I'd reckon...

I'm an attorney and I now represent Manny Rodriguez and Ian Kinsler.

Obviously, it's NOT the players, but i thought it was funny these two people randomly retained me within 3 months of each other. Unfortunately, my paralegal doesn't follow baseball so I have no one else to chuckle about this with. I did represent a Red Sox WS winner once though. It was a close call for conflict of interest. Fortunately, his agent hired me over the phone and neither of them came in to my office to see the jersey Cano gave me on my wall with a bunch of autographs on it

    edit: thanks -tz

    THE Manny Rodriguez?
He finally met himself, coming down an up-staircase, and the encounter was crushing.

I think you’re still having some trouble with this one.

Manny Rodriguez-that guy would immediately become the most booed in Yankee Stadium history.

Like the insurance guy or the minor leaguer? Either one.
