It's funny how all the nonsense the Lucky Whitehead has been involved with, and then given a free pass, that it was a case of mistaken identity that finally was the tipping point. Why the Dallas Cowboys management and the players themselves love to make it harder upon the organization as a whole, is beyond me.

And as the days have gone on, it must be said, that the Dallas Cowboys have really mishandled the Whitehead situation. I understand that's they were not happy with some of the stupid things that he had done in the past, but that should have been taken care of then instead of putting the final straw upon a ship that was sinking from the start. Once again, this entire bungled affair sure seems to have Jerry's fingerprints upon it.

I wonder what Elliott that the Cowboys are going to get tomorrow night. The powerhouse from last year or a guy loafing around the field when things do not go his way. Also, I think that the Denver game exposed just how weak that the Cowboys defense truly is.

Cowboys have $21M of dead cap this year due to Romo, Bryant, and Witten.

    Enjoy the season boys!

Witten was one of the few Cowboys I respected over the years. Best wishes to him in retirement. Interested to see how he'll be in the MNF booth. Can't be worse than Gruden.

    Has Dez signed anywhere yet?

    at the dead cap number.

How is it that every single Cowboy star player automatically gets a highly coveted broadcasting job the second they retire? No interview, no tests, no side work or a year of college games to get their feet wet. I don't get it.

I heard he turned down a multi-year offer from the Ravens, says he wants 1 year deal.

The Cowboys are just like that scene from Godfather lll. Just when I think that I am done with them, they keep pulling me back in. Though I am convinced, that Dallas will never be a winner as long as Jerry Jones keeps making every single decision.

It was truly ugly but at least they earned a division title. Now let's go out and try to at least win that first playoff game.

Their offense better learn to finish, or they will be one and down. Not having Travis Frederick all year has affected them. Oh yeah, and Dak needs to stop fumbling the damn ball.

Strengths of the team are running the ball and defense. Not a bad formula. Have a deep threat too.

I am shocked that Prescott played that entire game. It sure would have been nice if Cooper had played with just a tiny bit of intensity. And I'm not at all convinced with the Cowboys defense, stats be damned, but huge props to both Jarwin and Beasley today.

Thank you from a Giants fan. By playing your starters all game and winning it kept us in the top 5 for the draft.

Dallas didn't play their starters all game long and exposed Dak to a second/third tier offensive line all day long. And giants fans you're welcome for the season sweep.

meaningless game for both but I think had the G-men won they would have dropped from 6th to 10th in the draft.

Having the Dallas offense function with a degree a efficiency without Elliott, 3 starters on the offensive line, and getting TDS in the red zone, and while playing their reserves on defense for the majority of the game, I am fine with getting another series sweep. Where the giants are getting a draft pick had to take a back seat to help getting Dak into a ready position for this Saturday.

They are more than a pretty good match-up and Dallas will have to play a mistake free game, with Dak playing at a high level, in order for the Cowboys to get the W on Saturday.

I’m saying they are a good matchup for Dallas to get a win. Dallas should be able to control the ball and the clock. Seattle struggles to stop the run

I was just about to type that Dak needs to live with Gallop over the offseason cause he is terrible throwing the ball to him....than he throws that one...lol

Connor Williams scares the living hell out of me on the line. When Dallas got him in the second round, I thought that he would be a great addition to the line. However, he has been too inconsistent and I’m not sure if it’s because of his technique, size/strength, or experience.
