R.I.P. Tommy Lasorda
Dodgers have just announced his passing.
One of the game’s great characters.
Go check out his rants against Kurt Bevacqua and Dave Kingman on YouTube - absolutely priceless

Re: R.I.P. Tommy Lasorda
I grew up as a Dodgers fan, and my childhood was filled with Tommy, Vin, Fernando, and Orel. A true character, and good guy overall. My favorite Tommy moment was when I was in SF watching a non-dodgers game, and for some reason, Tommy was there as a part of the pre-game announcements. The crowd boo’ed him. He just smiled, and waved to them as he walked away.

Re: R.I.P. Tommy Lasorda
Just realized he was the last living manager of any WS team in the 70s. I feel old.

And Tommy Lasorda was also an Olympic Gold Medal winning manager with the United States in the 2000 Summer Olympic Games in Sydney.

Re: R.I.P. Tommy Lasorda
First major death of 2021. After so much tragedy in 2020. May Tommy RIP. God bless him and his family. Seventy years of marriage to the same woman. Very rare!
Ready for February and Valentines!
