I agree. Point 4 can be reasonably debated, but points 1-3 are ongoing issues, his biggest supporters would have to acknowledge that. Cashman has attempted to fix points 2 and 3 by bringing in new personnel, but he has been unable to find the right people to make an impact.

I believe Kike Hernandez will be a FA after this season.
I think he would be a nice acquisition

So he can dislocate Judge’s shoulder?

Just saying he has botched many of the plays that you see Adames and Seager easily make. Plus he can no way get to the balls up the middle or in the hole that others shortstops make the play on.

No, Judge can strain oblique, calf, ribs, shoulder, hand without any help, while watching Stanton strain hamstrings, calf, etc, etc, etc..........

Yes, I agree. However, I must say I was somewhat disenchanted with his hitting this year. It was probably due to the 60-game season (and all that). Still, I hope he wasn't led by his 2019 performance against the Os to think of himself as a 38-hr's-a-year kind of guy.

The obsession with resting players needs to stop. It's not preventing injuries and there's no evidence to indicate that it has helped them in the postseason. It's just playing more games with inferior players and sub-optimal lineups. At a minimum if they are not going to deviate from that strategy, then they need better backups than Tyler Wade and Brett Gardner.

This is where the notion of making Gleyber a SuperUtil comes into play.

Judge would be out for weeks.
    Bellinger didn’t miss any time.

On a side note, looked like Rays were doing the arm bump to taunt Dodgers after they adopted the foot bump.

I agree with everything you say here, except Brett Gardner is not a backup. He's the starting LF....

lol good observation. Makes me wonder if we coddle too much.

That’s what I hate about radio, you don’t see arm bumps on it...

This made me laugh and then wonder why a comment like this is so funny, a kind of Yankee fans' version of gallows humor.

Clint Frazier is a Gold Glove finalist! The kid has come such a long way, good on him!

Does that mean he is "oh so close" to actually getting to play?

It likely means Cashman will be asking for more when he trades him.

I'm fine with trading him in a deal for the proper return. I am fine with him staying and playing almost every day..

I am NOT fine with him sitting on the bench so Brett Gardner can play every day..
I used to think I was crazy... Now I am sure of it..

    Re: 2020-2021 offseason thread

If they trade Frazier after explicitly saying Stanton is a DH along with judges injury history, then it’s kind like why even watch anymore. But alas, I could see them trading him.
