Played for the Yankees in the 81 WS. I believe he homered in the first game. And a pretty good GM for the Yankees too in the mid 1990's.

More people have walked on the moon than have scored an earned run off of Mariano Rivera in the postseason.

Back to reality. I want the good Happ tonight. I do not care about the vesting option at this moment in time. I want to win and he wears the right uniform. But he only goes 5 or 6 innings and the whole bullpen pitched last night. Bullpen management will be important tonight.

Chapman probably unavailable. Britton and Green should be able to pitch.

No Stanton, Gleyber and Sanchez tonight. Judge is the DH. Higgy catching.

Guess since this was a MLB.com article it couldn't point out the real reason why teams starting going with first time managers midway thru the decade, they're less expensive to sign!

Maybe you should do some research.

It is not worth getting angry about. It is an occasional nod to tradition. It is the lineup for this date back in the day. People guess the year.

Don't know about Gleyber. Boone announced the plans for Stanton and Judge earlier this week.
