I do not disagree with that.... Was Gase even fired for 10 minutes before the Jets hired him?
And for the record, the Jets have been bad at football for a lot longer than Gase has been around.

The Jets will miss the playoffs for the 10th straight year. That's kind of tough to do in the NFL 6/16 teams in each conference make the post season every year. The odds of missing 10 years in a row under random chance is less than 1%.
And yet Jets only have 3rd longest current drought behind Cleveland 17 years (LOL) - that's expected to happen about 3 times out of every 1,000 rolling 17 year periods. And the Bucs at 12 years.

Today is the best I've felt about the Buccaneers football team in about a decade, back when LeGarrette Blount was trucking linebackers and defensive backs.

What a terrible weekend for Houston: first the Astros were eliminated in Game 7 to the Tampa Bay Rays and Romeo Crennel decided to go for two instead of one with the Texans up 36-29 on the Tennessee Titans with 1:50 to go in the fourth quarter.

Jets stand alone as the NFL's only winless team. 0-6 after today's shut out loss to the Dolphins.

The Jets are such a symbol of lost cause they might as well be classified as a Confederate monument.

If 10 years ago the Jets had just disbanded and then applied to the NFL as an expansion team they would probably be a better team right now.

At this rate, I'll feel bad for the fourth place team in the NFC West. There's a possibility of three NFC West teams making the playoffs.

7 teams make the playoffs this year, only 1 team gets a bye. So iWorks say it is not only possible but very probable that 3 NFCWest teams make it. Unlikely a 4th will squeaking but it’s possible if a few teams collapse.

Hopefully, the San Francisco 49ers win their way in and the Chicago Bears and the runner-up of the NFC South between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints collapse.

What a game by Kyler Murray against the Seattle Seahawks on SNF handing Seattle their first loss of the season.

That leaves the Pittsburgh Steelers as the only undefeated team left in the NFL. The 1972 Miami Dolphins are getting their champagne ready.

    The Pittsburgh Steelers are 10-0.

The Philadelphia Eagles' hold on the NFC East lead is down to half-game with their loss to the Cleveland Browns and the New York Giants, Washington Football Team and the Dallas Cowboys in striking distance.

The New England Patriots' playoff hopes dwindling after their loss to the Houston Texans.

The Baltimore Ravens dropped to ninth in the AFC Playoff race after their two-game losing streak including their OT loss to the Tennessee Titans.

What a game inside Allegiant Stadium!

The Kansas City Chiefs escaped Las Vegas with a 35-31 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders to go to 9-1. The game had five lead changes in the second half that saw Patrick Mahomes break Raiders' hearts with a 22-yard touchdown pass to Travis Kelce to put the Chiefs up four with 28 seconds left in regulation.

Derek Carr had 275 passing yards and three touchdowns in a losing effort that saw Danny Sorenson picked him off to seal the win for Kansas City.
