NBA G League Rule Change to Have One Free Throw At a Time

Newsday said that before the last two minutes, the G League will only have one free throw attempt at a time. If the player would have been entitled to two or three attempts, the one free throw is all or nothing.

So...does it still count for just one point, or is it for all the points that would have been scored (2 or 3)? If you hit the shot, do you still get the +1 attempt?

I took it as meaning you get one shot, if it's good you get the 2 points (or 3 if you were fouled on a three-point attempt). No second shot regardless.

Developmental/minor league. Used to be called the D League until the makers of Gatorade wrote the NBA a big check.

Yeah, otherwise games would turn into massive foul fests. No good shooter would ever get off a clean 3.

Sorry, I wasn't clear in my question. I meant if they hit the shot they were fouled on, is there still an opportunity for one more point on a free throw. I looked it up and the answer is yes.
