Re: The 2019 MLB Postseason Thread

The Washington Nationals are four outs away and here comes Dave Martinez to bring in Daniel Hudson for a potential four-out save.

Re: The 2019 MLB Postseason Thread

What a way for the Washington Nationals to win their first ever National League Championship pennant and their first ever World Series appearance: winning the NL Wild Card Game against the Milwaukee Brewers and avenging past postseason losses against the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLDS and the St. Louis Cardinals in the NLCS.

The Seattle Mariners are on the clock...

I bet Montreal is seething another moment in their city's sports history.

So does DC technically have the longest WS title drought? I know the Indians are the longest franchise drought and never lost their team.

Only if you go by total years rather than seasons in which they had a team. This is the 62nd season of baseball in DC since their championship, so it's not as bad as Cleveland. But by years, sure, they crush Cleveland.
