The economy shouldn't be measured by how well rich people are doing.

Well for those looking deeper than just the flat number the fact that the top one percent is doing well doesn’t matter to the rest. Income inequality is worse than ever and the numbers used are meaningless. Problem is too many people are too lazy to research and look at issues below the surface. What kind of jobs? Joe Smith working two minimum wage jobs to barely break even looks great on the jobs report but in reality too many are suffering and saying the job growing and what you stated is great is the same as “let them eat cake”. Things are great, if you are rich. And to save you the time of a whataboutism, this is not a Trump only issue, been going on for years

None of that matters. Only people's perception of how theyre doing matters.

Funny to hear people call Bernie too far left when his policies is to the right of how we lived from 1935-70. When we actually had a middle class.

Why is Bernie not electable? He's an old, straight white man. Do you mean because he's Jewish? Liz Warren will draw unfair comparisons to Hillary, sadly.
Not just because hes Jewish. Because hes a disheveled, grouchy, humorless New York Jew.

Folks have been getting on Mayor Pete for not posting his issues. He said in April it was being worked on and would be up in May. Here it is:

I have my issues with Bernie, but that's not one of them. I kind of find that appealing. He's grouchy because of injustice, which ain't a bad thing.

Drumpf is a grouchy, humorless, disheveled, cruel SOB, and look where we are. Not Jewish, though, which sadly might matter.

    Re: 2020 Democratic Nomination

Elizabeth Warren just announced her abortion platform. It’s aggressive.

    https://www.vox.com/2019/5/17/186286...orm-roe-v-wade

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) on Friday released a statement calling on Congress to pass a slate of legislation aimed at guaranteeing abortion and other reproductive rights around the country, even if Roe v. Wade falls.

The statement, posted on Medium, comes as a wave of strict anti-abortion laws are sweeping the country. On Wednesday, Gov. Kay Ivey of Alabama signed into law a bill banning nearly all abortions in the state, with no exceptions for rape or incest. On Thursday, the Missouri state Senate passed a bill banning the procedure at eight weeks (the bill now goes back to the state House for approval). Many of these laws are aimed squarely at overturning Roe.

“This is a dark moment,” Warren writes. “People are scared and angry. And they are right to be. But this isn’t a moment to back down — it’s time to fight back.”
Each point is discussed in the article. I love her.
