The right move is to have the injured player in the active lineup. We've all been there.

    GDN:

I do not have 6 injured players as I dropped Aledmys Diaz before the game with Houston started two days ago.

On July 2, 2019, I dropped Aledmys Diaz at 6:47 PM EST. That was before Houston started on Tuesday.

You can see it on the transactions list.

I didn't know that Voit was going to be injured...

    Please fix.

    Most appreciated.

I thought that you could add or drop a player before each player's game started.

You can't add or drop after the first game of the week starts.

Once ANY game starts that's it for adding and dropping. You can only make changes with what's on your roster that week. Even if the player you are subbing is still open for moving.

We've all had to deal with it with late injuries and such. For me, this week I had to deal with Hendricks coming off the DL right after roster lock and he wound up getting two starts. Nothing I could do because even had I dropped a player to activate him it wouldn't have counted. We've had this issue come up every two weeks or so with someone.

All be aware that there is a THURSDAY game next week. Houston is at Texas while all others are off until Friday.

    Re: 2019 Roster Moves Thread

If you notice in the transactions, Tuesday's games did not start until 7PM EST.

I dropped Diaz from my injured list before the games for that night.

I was under the impression that the games that started for that day, not before all of the games started on Monday. Yanks and Astros did not play on Monday.

I guess I was under the wrong impression.

I know it sucks. We've all dealt with it at one time or another.

Was a retroactive move made for Mrs Bill and Sluggo to now have a legal roster for the week? Seems like they're all of a sudden accumulating points?

Yeah when I made the roster move to undo the changes she made at the beginning of the week I left her with an illegal roster and didn’t realize she wasn’t accumulating any points until this morning.

This is what I should’ve done but I didn’t realize that until this morning.

Please place Jose Alvarado on the injured section of my roster. This waste of space will be out 6-8 weeks.

    https://www.rotoworld.com/baseball/m.../jose-alvarado

Jose Alvarado (oblique) is expected to be sidelined for 6-8 weeks.
Alvarado suffered a right oblique strain during an appearance Saturday against the Yankees and will be placed on the injured list before the start of the second half.

AllRise asked me to drop Kingham for him since he couldn't, for some reason, so I did it.

    It’s 5:18 Friday

Daniel Ponce de Leon was just slotted as a spot starter due to wainwright’s back.

Please take Marquez out of SP and put on bench.

Please place de Leon in the SP slot.

Please take Yarbrough off my bench to slide into RP slot.

    Thanks, Brian

Is Yarborough a RP or SP? I've made the changes.

Yarborough is an RP long relief.

    Thanks

    Re: 2019 Roster Moves Thread

    Yarborough started last week...
    from fantrax:
    LATEST NEWS
    JUL 14, 5:48 PM EDT
Yarbrough (8-3) secured the victory after allowing one run on two hits while striking out six over 6.1 innings Sunday against Baltimore.

I think he does both, relieve and start. The last outing he had on July 13, 2019 he started, the one before that he relieved, so I don't know how you do that one.

    Just my two cents.

    Re: 2019 Roster Moves Thread

Please put Alec Mills as a SP, he is currently a RP.

    Thanks.

    From fantrax:

    LATEST NEWS
    JUL 17, 8:12 AM EDT
Mills didn't factor into the decision in Tuesday's 4-3 extra-inning win over the Reds, giving up three runs on five hits and a walk over six innings while striking out six.
    ANALYSIS
Cincinnati jumped on him for three runs in the first inning, but Mills settled down after that and came through with the first quality start of his brief big-league career. The right-hander may have earned a longer stay in the rotation with the performance, as Cole Hamels (oblique) still has no timetable for his return.

    Re: 2019 Roster Moves Thread

Can you please place Michel Baez in a RP slot for Planet Express? He’s gonna work out of the pen for the friars. From his CBS player page:

“The Padres have used the 6-foot-8 right-hander exclusively in relief this season, with Baez turning in a 2.00 ERA while racking up 38 strikeouts and holding opponents to a .216 average across 27 innings. He could be a multi-inning weapon out of the bullpen over the final two months as San Diego looks to chase down a wild-card spot.“

    Thank you!

Please put Nathan Eovaldi in a RP spot for me. He's back and in a relief role.
