Keep him out today AND tomorrow I say, and then there's the off-day Monday. Limited duty the rest of the way. They're not catching Houston anyway.

Definitely. The injury gremlin is working tirelessly trying to get Gleyber.

Catching Houston? We both have 101 wins. All we need is for them to lose a couple against the Angels, which could very easily happen. We need home field vs them. We should try to do whatever we can to get it or I fear this years playoffs will be a repeat of 2017.

They just said on YES that we would "probably" see Sanchez next weekend.

For those who missed it: Urshela left the game tonight after being HBP in the hand. X-rays were negative.

Paxton left tonight's game after one inning with a "tight glute." But apparently it's nothing serious.

K.O.W. hopefully just minor flute tightness and just a precautionary move by Boone. AB reiterating that postgame. Paxton too. Said he could have continued, but they wanted to play it safe.

Very happy to hear that paxton is ok

    Re: 2019 Health/Injury Performance Thread

Playing it safe is definitely the right call. Simply cannot afford to have him or any of the other starters go down for virtually any amount of time. This game was pretty meaningless.

He should play a guitar for a while.

Yeah, those wind instruments sound real squeaky when they get tight.

For those doing something more productive with their time today, Urshela left the game with an injury: https://www.nj.com/yankees/2019/09/n...aves-game.html
David Ortiz tested positive for performance enhancing drugs in 2003.

...and anything would have been more productive than watching the Yankees mail in this game.
