    Phil Rizzuto Defensive Metrics

According to baseballreference: The Scooter is the best defensive player in Yankee history. Not bad for the little guy. Also consider that he missed three years during his prime for service in World War II.

    Defensive WAR
    1. Phil Rizzuto 22.9
    2. Willie Randolph 17.0
    3. Roger Peckinpaugh 16.1
    4. Clete Boyer 15.5
    5. Joe Gordon 15.0
    6. Frankie Crosetti 14.2
    7. Gil McDougald 14.0
    8. Graig Nettles 13.9
    9. Bucky Dent 12.6
    10. Tony Kubek 12.4

https://www.baseball-reference.com/t...s_bat_50.shtml has the Top 50s. The only ones in the Top 50 in Defensive WAR who won a World Series with the Yankees in the 1990s or 2000s are Gardner, Cano, and Boggs. The only ones in the Top 50 in Defensive WAR who are active are Gardner, Cano, and Gregorius.

I think it would be great if Jeter had to wait a year or two to get into the HoF.
In "Kids in the Hall" I trust
