I liked his picks last year. Hurst and Key were steals. Mayock is also a draft guru so its will be interesting non the less.

Kyler Murray fully commits to football. No compensation for the A's, but they will retain his rights.

He got to keep a little bit of the bonus, too.

La. Tech's Jaylon Ferguson disinvited to scouting combine

I wonder how far he will drop and who will pick him up as a bargain at a lower pick.

Also who will take a flyer on Jeffery Simmons the kid from Mississippi who tore his ACL?

Seems that way, but he's only about 5' 9". Haskins is 6' 2". Doesn't that make a difference behind NFL lines?

I don't think I'd be upset if the Giants wound up with either one of these guys.

Mayfield and brees are under 6 foot. Is there really a difference between 5 9 and 5 10 or 5 11

I dunno. It seems NFL talent evaluators think so.

I like Murray's mobility. I like his speed. Again, it wouldn't bother me if the Gi'nts picked up either of these two. [I'm less enthused about Lock or Jones, but couldn't necessarily explain why.]

You have to think that when you can't get passes over the top of D lineman's out stretched arms its a problem. I would be more concerned with a running QB getting injured.

How many running QBs have won a Superbowl?

Define running. Staubach young Wilson Rodgers could run very well. But they could pass too. The idea is that Murray can pass.

Scrambling to avoid the rush is different than running. When a QB's running is a major part of the offense. RG3, Vick, and now Lamar.

Pretty sure the 2020 draft was being discussed before the pro bowl this year.

It's the NFL Draft, they're all big guys, I get it. But I hope I'm not the only one who was amused seeing the DXL Big & Tall logo appear on the screen for the first time as they were interviewing... Kyler Murray.
