Wow...how did I miss that? Their current stadium was opened in 1994...

Amazing how often Stadiums are replaced now. Turner field opened for BB in 1997 and was replaced two years ago.

It's too hot to play outside there. The current Stadium is beautiful and not that old, but it's to darn hot in the summer. There's room in that area to build so they are building.
    Just win!

I went there once. Nice stadium for sure. But the hot muggy weather sucks for sure.

They made the announcement in May 2016. Around 2031 we'll see if a new Yankee Stadium plan will be announced.

Atlanta took the 1996 Olympic stadium and converted it. It wasn't the best design. I could see wanting to go new, but I really liked the 1994 Texas stadium.

I have seen games at Turner Field. Thought it was a pretty nice park. Liked it more than Nationals Park and the one in Philly.

    Looks like the Astros stadium.
If they ask who was our star, give them 25 names, and if you forget our names, just tell them we were Yankees.

They should have just built Arlington Arlington Stadium with a dome in the first place.

yeah so many of these do. One day though I expect even higher roofs to encompass many city blocks. Indoor cities zones will eventually come to a city near you

Back in the late 70's, there was a proposal to put Winooski, Vermont under a dome.

Life under the dome: The project that almost placed Winooski under a giant glass bubble
