As I stated above, I am a Fan.. of cauliflower. I like it uncooked and cooked. I like they they are making pasta and potatoes and rice out of it now. I like that it's healthy and tasty. It looks cool. I prefer it to its green cousin - broccoli. If it went away, I'd be sad, but I'd get over it.

I don't know if I'd call broccoli and cauliflower cousins - they're just different cultivars of the same species, Brassica oleracea. So are cabbage, Brussels sprouts, collard greens, and kale. Mark Twain called cauliflower "nothing but cabbage with a college education."

They kept passing me along even though I couldn't read. Couldn't hold a pencil, for that matter. I did have a big head, though.

Excellent question. It's good only when cooked, and it needs to be slathered in butter.

Broccoli -- cooked only -- is vastly superior to cauliflower. It is delicious with butter but even better with gobs of melted cheese.

Carp and bullheads are somewhat cousins. Both feed on the bottom. Why does one taste good and the other taste like river mud? That's my analogy. I like broccoli, raw or cooked.

OK then. That'll do it for the cauliflower voting. Discussion is still allowed and encouraged on this frighteningly interesting topic.

Fans win again, tho, closer this time.
