I did not endorse him for president. I endorse him as an advocate for the low-blood-sugar Democratic Party which needs a little more aggressiveness.

Oops I mean a LOT more aggressiveness.

Exactly. I wouldn't want him to run for any office. I think he's doing more in the position he has now.

Since his name came up as a lawyer representing a porn star, and then subsequent criticisms of Trump regarding the way that Trump treated women, that's been nullified by Avenatti's own allegations of physical abuse against him by his own wife.

Then there's the matter of his law firm being evicted for non-payment of rent.

Really excited for the ill-fated third party/independent run that siphons enough votes to reelect Trump.

BLOOMBERG: Federal prosecutors in NY filed criminal complaint, say Avenatti demanded multi-million-dollar payments, threatened to release damaging information. Wow.

Maybe not but extortion, bank fraud and wire fraud tells us he's now qualified to be president.

Nope and some networks need to be embarrassed by the on-the-air exposure they gave this shyster.

He was the lawyer for someone who was suing and making credible allegations against he president. How could they not give him exposure?

I don't have a problem with some exposure, but they gave him a pulpit like he was a credible resource or valuable contributor. He was on MSNBC several times a day including segments that had nothing to do with his client at that time.

Since it's obvious, per his alleged extortion attempts on Nike, that Avenatti really needs the cash.

What exactly does a "Nike school" mean? That students must only wear Nike athletic shoes for their various sports? Do they get preferential treatment meetings with student athletes who wish to get an endorsement deal?

I'm hearing about payments to family members disguised as some other types of contributions. Does that happen a lot in amateur sports (college, high school and junior high school)?

I have nothing to base that on. It's simply a feeling I get out here in mid-America.

I'm impressed with Gillibrand, but 'female Senator from New York' will allow her to be portrayed as Hillary 2.0, which will (unfairly) hurt her.

Regardless, the Democrats need to avoid putting anyone forward who was born before 1950, or the young voters will stay home once again.
