Pretty weak list. Highlights, IMHO: ANGLADA and HOLDY.

Ugh. They are doing this again?

My favorites are Gardner, Bird and Judge.

    But I prefer “ “
If they ask who was our star, give them 25 names, and if you forget our names, just tell them we were Yankees.

Anglada is probably the only really good nickname of the bunch. Maybe Pickles.

Disagree. "Pickles" should have been retired after Pickles Dillhoefer.

Pickles Gray is a big step down from Dillhoefer, but it’s still poetry compared with most of the others on that list. Once a century doesn’t offend me deeply.

At the same time, I understand your sentiment. I thought “Boomer” Wells should have been retired after Greg.

I hate this and do not support this. Kudos to those like Gardner who just put their last name in.

Rich Hill going with D Mountain is pretty good.

    Jacoby really should be D-Ellsbury

I don’t necessarily love recycled nicknames, but there are at least two current players with available nickname so that bvious I can’t gelieve they’re not in everyday use:

    “Sliding Billy” Hamilton
    “Crazy Joey” Gallo

It would have been better if they all put their Didi emoji instead of a name. Then it would be a Yankee in-joke and certainly cooler than the rest of mlb.
