    With Warren a FA after this season, Cole should do nicely. Not a FA until 2024.

    Not that they use him in pressure situations or anything, but nice job. Buys the top 4 a little bit of rest.

    With the Nationals he was throwing his slider about 23% of the time. With the Yankees he is throwing it 37% of the time. Iím guessing thatís not a coincidence.
    David Ortiz tested positive for performance enhancing drugs in 2003.

    I was a little surprised he wasn't left out there to get the three inning save. He only threw 25 pitches and he is supposed to be our long man/sixth starter in the BP.

    Hey I made a similar comparison upthread, except I lumped in his Railrider stats on the "bad" side. Maybe Katie reads nyyfans

    same. Boone properly left Gallegos out there for the "rulebook save" in the other blowout, not sure why not here. He's not pitching tomorrow regardless.
