    Anderson Severino, LHP, Yankees
    Severino has MLB-caliber stuff with a hard mid-90s fastball and an above-average curveball But his command and control has kept him from having much success with it yet and he has yet to pitch above Class A.

    15. Diamondbacks Nick Green, RHP (Yankees)

    Looks like we lost a young righty with control issues.

    And a couple other guys in the later portions

    Thus far, the Yankee shave list Nick Green, Chris Rabago, Gilmael Troya, Anyelo Gomez, Mark Payton and Alexander Vargas in both portions of the Rule 5 Draft. Goes to show you how deep the organization's farm really is
    Baseball is life;
    the rest is just details.

    Green does have control issues. 11% walk rate in 2018, with a starter's load in A ball. However he had a mid 60% ground-ball rate, which is better than almost anyone in Baseball!! Has a flukey sinker with slider or curve action that makes batters pound the ball in the ground.

    My guess is he will get a long look in ST as a 2 inning relief pitcher. D-Backs are rebuilding so no harm in keeping him if he shows something.

    Anyelo Gomez was injured almost all season in 2018. He was picked by the Braves last year in the Rule 5, but returned.

    I had Nick Green protected on my list (back a page or so) and am bummed about him but happy no one took Kyle Holder.
