Almost as funny as ignoring data that shoots down your flawed perception of Piazza.

Subtract an error from Gary. That was on Gley.

Official scorer retracted the error and gave it to Torres. But Gary gets to keep his 2nd bomb.

Nothing flawed about it, contrarian posts aside.

Gary can't even catch a pop up. Dude couldn't catch a cold in Alaska in February.

The yankees have a better chance to win when he catches
Baseball games are not won with a formula. If you can hit, they will find a place for you

You're not good at this. Also, Kraken walk off should've made you disappear, at least for a while.

It was a joke. Sanchez is an amazing hitter. He just struggles at catching the ball. I am not sure how anyone could disagree with that. And yes he has a great arm.

Yes probably. He is better than stanton in the field, not by a lot though. And gardy and hicks are better than romine offensively. Sanchez still just scares me behind home plate.

You're just wrong on Gary's defense. He's more than serviceable given his defensive skillset.

Yes people that are more than serviceable can still struggle. Like the stat or not he led the league with passed balls. He is bad at stopping wild pitches. He doesn't move his body

Huh? You just called him a DH who is an awful catcher. You didn't come close to implying his defense as serviceable much less "more than" that or that these were temporary "struggles."

Needs context. He also had a very tough pitching staff to deal with. Tanaka and Gray especially were bouncing balls over the place. Also, he's had some big blocks with guys on 3B but the confirmation bias doesn't have many people coming here to note those plays. Only the balls that get away.

Did you take a look at the metrics CP posted?
