So without Davis A's scored 3 in the first. Mariners tied it and A's scored 3 more in the second. Yankees are going to need to win 3 of their last 5 games.

M’s have come back with a run in the bottom of the 2nd now at least 1 more in the bottom of the 3rd. It’s a 1-run game with the M’s still batting in the 3rd.

How did the Yankees do tonight without DD, Gleyber & Hicks?

Don't you mean 4 of 5? I mean, the Twins were going to roll over and get swept by the A's amirite?

And you keep telling me the Yankees will lose to the Rays. I guess we both got it wrong.

And I told you the Twins would beat them once and I was right.

Tonight's game is still close, there's tomorrow night's game, and despite the fact that you've already written off the weekend as a sweep, the Angels are at home and saying goodbye to one of the most iconic figures in the history of the franchise. There will be larger-than-normal crowds (at least for an also-ran), national media attention and at least one emotional farewell ceremony. Don't be shocked if the Angels play with a little more spice than a team playing out the string usually does.

I hope you are right because at Oakland last week A's scored 38 runs in three games off the Angels.

Now 8-5. A's have now scored 7 or more runs in 6 of their last 8 games.

3-2 from here and it doesn't matter what OAK does.

Yes, we can do math. Obviously we've been discussing contingencies in case Yankees stumble a bit.

Rodney gives up 2 but itís still 8-7 OAK after 8.

    Re: 2018 Regular Season Thread

Gamel scores the tying run after Chapman boots a ball that would have ended the game, 8-8 now and SEA still threatening.
