Re: 2018 Regular Season Thread
I wonder if Austin and Wade will be in a platoon with with Walker playing 2B v lefties and 1B v righties.

Tangentially related to the Yankees, just saw Lindgren is having TJS again. I feel bad for him

I like the lineup. Even the bottom of the order is quite respectable.

This makes me feel like a kid on Christmas eve again, its a similar feeling, hard to sleep knowing tomorrow you get to unpack the presents. The excitement, the anticipation, its like Xmas eve for adults.

Re: 2018 Regular Season Thread
How so? Against LHP, Girardi would regularly start a RHH heavy lineup.
On June 8th against David Price, his starting lineup was:
Gardner
Hicks
Judge
Holiday
Castro
Sanchez
Didi
Headley
Carter
Eight RHH, with only Didi as a LHH. Once he batted, the lineup went eight RHH before a LHH.Forgive me for taking the Contrarian view

Definitely don't think Gardner should be leading off against a lefty.
Ideally that changes as time goes on.Calmer than you are

Re: 2018 Regular Season Thread
(other post pointed it out Gardner is LHH) Just want to add. The other point Joe G did was look at the numbers against the opposing pitcher. I think this is why we see Gardner leading off against Happ (300) but I do like seeing Gardy lead off opening day. We should see Hicks leading off against LHP a lot in the future.

Re: 2018 Regular Season Thread
I hope they don’t experiment with judge in the leadoff spot but if they do it better be followed by Stanton then Sanchez
