I feel for you. Living in Colorado, I need to go waaaay out of town to see the Yankees, unless I'm lucky enough to have them come to Coors Field. I've had bad weather lead to a few expensive and unproductive trips. Sucks beyond words.

That's my plan 2 weeks from now if it rains. Check out the Inner Harbor, it should be a good trip regardless.

That does suck. I get to see the Yanks at the O.co when I want which is close and nearly never gets rained out but...

A few years ago we took a trip back to the east coast and one stop was the Stadium. The night we had tickets...rainout. Fortunately they rescheduled as a day night DH the next day and we were able to delay our trip down to the Jersey shore til after the game. But had they not been playing the Dodgers for the only time that year the game could easily have been rescheduled for months later.

Just watch your belongings like a hawk. A buddy and I drove down to Baltimore from Maine to see the Yanks a few years ago, and when we finally found an Inner Harbor restaurant that had available seats, my camera got stolen right off the back of my chair where it was strapped on. Never even noticed it. Those thieves are really good.

I have very fond memories of seeing many games in the Oakland Alameda County Coliseum back in '78 - '80 while stationed at NRMC Oakland. One of my patients was a retired Navy Captain who was a VP for World Airways - every time the Yankees came to town, I was guaranteed two tickets in the WA box, which was next to Charlie Finley's box. The seats were great.

How crazy is it that the series this year is in Spetember?!

It's usually right around Father's Day every season.

unless you're cutting Sanchez and playing with one catcher, you've got a 26-man roster there. I'll help you out, cut Shreve.

Latest forecast has no rain on Friday night, but some thunder storms on Saturday morning. They don't play until Saturday night so storms should clear out by then.

Just info. Don't know where to post this but I get MLP pipeline about prospects and Chance Adams was the top performer last night. 7 innings 102 pitches, 10 SO. I do like him and know he had a rough ST and even his previous game was not good but I am happy for him and would like to see him do better. I don't know if he would make the rotation but he was my 6th pitcher going into ST. Another guy I like is Tate and he did good at Trenton. I really like our pitching depth.

Good. I see that. Originally storms were to come through Friday night but hopefully the new model saying early Saturday is right.

If it did, it would probably be a rain-out.

I would like to see Greg Bird have a sustained stretch of good ABs in the minors before they bring him up. I'm very happy with a platoon of Austin and Walker at first until Bird proves he's healthy and having good ABs. I know that I'm in a very small minority but I believe Bird has not done enough to not have to earn his spot.

There is a Minor League forum, where most people post news about prospects. Unless they're rehabbing Major League guys!

There's a post about Chance down there:

I hope that plays out because I want nothing to do with the Astros in a short series.
