Sanchez is 0-2 with two lineouts to left field. Unlucky

We have 6 guys with double digit HRs and Andujar with 9 now. That seems really early in the season for that.

Wow, short game : 2 hours and 28 minutes.
What we can appreciate now is that the Yankees from 1996-2003 were even more extraordinary than we thought.

I know it's frustrating to watch them play good-ish vs bad teams but this team is ridiculously good/fun at putting the boots to good teams.

Agree on the sentiment but I'm skeptical about how good the Mariners really are and will be even if they win the next 2. They are on a 2012 Orioles-like freak run. They're +17 on run differential, +19 in won-lost!

With Seattle I certainly agree but "You are what your record says you are" and all that. Team sure seems to rise up to the occasion.

God, watching these young Yankee players doing their thing makes me proud and it's very satisfying to see it unfold. I don't mind getting a hired gunslinger like Cone, Wells or Clemens, but seeing young pitching studs helping the team is so cool. The question that remains to be answer if Cashman is going to find such a pitcher in the Cone, Wells or Clemens mode??????
God, I love Yankee fans as they're never satisfied!

I agree, which is why I’d rather see them bring up Sheffield, who has been pitching very well in Scranton, in August rather than someone else’s veteran.

I see Billy Connors passed away. He was never loved on this forum, but may he R.I.P.

I really like this German kid, and think he might be the real deal. I also suspect there will be growing pains and adjustments along the way, so I also wouldn't mind adding a gunslinger. Not sure who that'll be, but that's why Cashman gets paid the big bucks. As good as kids like German and Loaisiga might be looking now, we're going to need experience in October. Curious to see what rabbit Cashman pulls out of the hat, and what it's going to cost.

This tells me we won't see Gardner until this weekend as Paxton is going tomorrow.
