Brandon Druryís hand was fractured before #Bluejays traded for him. #Yankees thought it was a bone bruise. He was getting treatment the whole time, but it wasnít improving enough so he got another scan in Seattle on Sunday. Heíll be in a cast for two weeks then be re-evaluated.

Is Brian Cashman reading x-rays now too? Talk about total incompetance.

For reals. Their medical staff is a joke. They need to clean house. However, Levine probably is in bed with the current staff and hospitals.

The same staff that thought Judge would be ready in 3 weeks? This isnít comforting at all.
If they ask who was our star, give them 25 names, and if you forget our names, just tell them we were Yankees.

Did the misdiagnosis come from the same doctor who thought Teixeira had a bone bruise late in 2015 when he broke his leg? I wonder if an athlete has ever sued his team doctor for medical malpractice.

Correct. He sued him, then dropped the suit.

Unlucky Brandon Drury on the Jays DL really hasn't shown his real upside whereas Bill McKinney is swinging a hot bat with power for manager John Gibbons. Some here said Cashman paid too much to get JA Happ as a rental with no assurance he would be able to resign him. Now, with 5 consecutive low ERA wins in a Yankees uniform, Cashman is winning the trade in the short term.

If possible I would love for the Yankees to resign Happ. The guy has been great for us.

It would depend on the length of contract he is looking for - at 36 years going into spring training, I would want nothing more than a two year agreement. Best would be a one year with an option.

Price? His current contract is an AAV of $12M - I wouldn't want to go north of that number.

I would go above $12 million. If Happ pitches well and stays healthy the rest of the season, I would start by offering $20 million to $25 million for 2 years and go up to $30 million if necessary. I would be willing to pay Happ more if Sabathia is retired or has signed with another team by then and/or if Lynn has signed with another team by then. Losing Sabathia, Happ, and Lynn would be bad, and I would be desperate to keep Happ if the other two were gone unless the Yankees signed or traded for an ace by then.
