The value just isn't there with a running back. Le'Veon Bell(2nd round), Kareem Hunt and Alvin Kamara(3rd rounders), Devonta Freeman(4th rounder), Jordan Howard(5th rounder), etc. We got Ahmad Bradshaw in the 7th round! Trust me, you build a good line...finding a competent back to run behind them will be easy as pie.

QB is far and away the most important position. Eli's time is just about up, and while I like Webb, it's not too often that we get the 2nd pick in the draft. Would hate to waste it on a running back. QB or trade back.

Agree 100%. We have to think about our QB of the future with that 2nd pick.

That we are still having this conversation is maddening. Its like people arguing batting average over OBP.

I can't believe the Giants would be short sighted enough to not take the QB but surprises do happen.

What should they do if they don't like any of those top QBs and prefer a QB that is not as well thought of in the MSM.

I read a bad story regarding OBJ caught on Instagram with drugs in his photo. Please tell me it is a joke.

I'm not surprise, but, the question is whether he's taking drugs?

That's the reason why Jeter confiscates smart phones when you enter his home. If you're young and single with some money and you party with a bevy of hot women, you're going to be around drugs in those party type scenarios.

And if that is the case, you still don't take a RB. The main point is, there are certain positions to take that early and RB is not one of them.

As for Odell...nothing story. Unless we think athletes are never around recreational drugs. He just needs to pick his ''friends'' a little better.
Its more of an issue for Nike than it is for those of us who only care about him being the best WR in the league.

DRC being released, per Jordan Raanan.

Schefter adds that it saves 6.5M against the cap.

Josh Gordon was nearly the best WR in the league. If you don't think the same fate can befall Odell you might want to think again.

But as long he doesn't test positive I guess it's all good.

Imagine the Yankees being outbid by the Padres for a position of desperate need. It is crazy how different the NFL offseason is compared to MLB.

Oh yeah, this sucks. Being back Pugh.

That's what happens in a salary cap sport. It's because of the cap and the number of injuries in the NFL that my fondness for the NFL has decreased over the years.

Devon Kennard signs with Detroit which is a bit of a loss.

Jonathan Stewart is expected to sign here, which is a bit of ... I don't know, seems a few years late for this. I assume it'll be a cheap contract at least.

J-Stew is an awful signing. Why not McKinnon who played under Shuhmer?

If you donít want to puke, avoid Googling the contract terms. They gave him actual money.

The good news is this signing means they want a QB with the 2nd pick. Right?

They should want a QB regardless of J-Stew.

Richberg to 49ers, losing out on Norwell, Solder might choose the Texans, not even discussing bringing back Pugh. How is Gettleman fixing this OLine?

I am OK with DRC being cut due to his cap hit but why is Brandon Marshall still on the roster?

Solder is alright. Hes certainly not bad. But that was a gross overpay.
Flowers can not play tackle in the NFL.

Point being any small market team in the NFL has an even playing ground and is able to compete with all that revenue sharing from the national TV contracts. Baseball is not the same.

I'm going to be very if the Giants pass on Rosen and the Jets take him.

I think he's the best QB in the draft.

I would agree, based on my very limited viewings. I had:

    1. Rosen
    2. Mayfield
    3. Darnold

    Never saw Allen or Jackson
