For stretches of that game, and not short stretches either, the Chiefs offense looked like an early season out-of-conference college game, where the teams are wildly mismatched. They were just moving down the field with no resistance.

Question is, who's going to left them off the hook?

Frank Reich pulled a Marty Mornhinweg: a bonehead decision to go on fourth down from your own 43 in overtime.

Also, I'm glad I'm not an Atlanta Falcons fan.

That let Andrew Luck be the first player ever to have at least 40 completions, at least 464 passing yards, at least 4 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions in a loss. He wasn't lucky today.

Edit: He threw for 437 yards when you take out sacks, but he was still the first player to do that in a loss.

Chicago's Mitchell Trubisky threw 6 touchdowns, had 354 passing yards, and had 53 rushing yards. He became the first quarterback since at least 1950 to throw at least 6 touchdowns, throw for at least 350 yards, and run for at least 50 yards.

Speaking of boneheads, I don't know what the hell Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave was thinking trying to use a hook and ladder play on fourth and 10 trailing by four to the Kansas City Chiefs and lose.

What a choke job by the Broncos. Up 10, but blew it. They could've been 3-1.

Patrick Mahomes is an absolute animal with that comeback.

    Congratulations Drew Brees!

The New Orleans Saints QB surpassed Peyton Manning as the NFL's all-time passing yards leader against the Washington Redskins on MNF.

That was pretty fun. I look forward to the rematch in January which thanks to last night will be in Foxboro and not Arrowhead.

Chiefs and rams aren’t going anywhere with defenses like that.

My money’s still on the pats. Defense usually is at its best at the end of the year

Is there any great defense this year? I mean I thought Chicago, but they couldn't beat Osweiler. I thought Jacksonville, but then they let the vanilla Cowboys score 40.

    Crazy stat of the day:
    https://twitter.com/PatriotsSBLIII/s...83569792356352
Patriots have now played 12 games against a team with a better record since 2009. They have won all 12.

More impressive than 12-0: only 12 times over the past 150 games has the Patriots’ opponent had a better record.

What a choke job by the San Francisco 49ers in Lambeau.

Baltimore looks like the best right now. Let’s see how the year finishes. Baltimore only giving up 12.8 points a game. If that holds that’s insane

It's a new systemic reality - defensive players are not making plays that can result in injury because of all the rule changes
