    https://www.pyeongchang2018.com/en/g...-standings.htm
    https://www.nbcolympics.com/medals

Three nations hit the 10+ total overall medal count after Day 4 of competition in the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

Norway picked up two medals to continue to lead all nations with 11 medals. But right behind them are the Netherlands and Canada with 10 each.

Germany has the fourth most overall medals with nine, but lead all nations with five gold medals.

The Netherlands have the second most gold medals with four while Canada, Norway and the United States are in a three-way tie for third most gold medals with three each.

The Americans also round out the top five with six medals and will attempt to join Norway as nations with 100 career Winter Olympic Gold Medals on Day 5. Norway was the first to reach the century mark in the Winter Olympics at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

France and the Olympic Athletes from Russia complete the five-medal club.

The Olympic Athletes from Russia currently have the most total medals without a gold so far.

After Day 4, 19 different nations have at least one medal with 10 of the 19 having at least one gold.

Shaun White Is Still More Snowboarder Than Celebrity
Over the past decade-plus, White has transformed from the Flying Tomato into the rare extreme-sports superstar. He keeps throwing it down, though—and will look to reclaim his spot atop the sport by winning a third Olympic gold medal in Pyeongchang.

The United States of America has join an exclusive club!

'The Flying Tomato' Shaun White won his third Olympic gold medal in Men's Halfpipe Snowboarding to give Team USA their 100th career Winter Olympic gold medal.

The Americans are the second nation to hit the century mark in Winter Olympic gold medal joining Norway who accomplished this feat in Vancouver 2010.

White had to rally to score a 97.75 on his third and final run to capture gold.

Japan's Ayumu Hirano, who won silver in Sochi 2014 and was in top position with a score of 95.25 in his second run, had to settle for silver.

    Australia's Scotty James takes bronze.

It's getting brutal on the slopes.

In fact, one snowboarder in the men's halfpipe, Japan's Yuto Totsuka had a scary wipeout.

The United States achieved two milestones in their glorious Olympic history.

First nation to win 1,000 career Summer Olympic gold medals in Rio de Janeiro 2016.

Second nation after Norway to win 100 career Winter Olympic gold medals in Pyeongchang 2018.

Look I am glad the events are taking place in a real winter weather environment unlike the beachside Soshi and sea level Vancouver which had an embarrassing lack of snow. I just don't recall so many problems when the games are in the Alps or the Rockies.

I know the 2022 games are going to snow-less Bejing so I pray the 2026 go back to the Alps or North America.

I would like to see a Winter Olympic Games in Stockholm, Sweden. Norway has hosted two Winter Olympics in Oslo 1952 and Lillehammer 1994.

The Scandinavian countries are due to host another Olympics, Winter or Summer.
