As I watched the game yesterday I was actually wondering if his teammates personal success was hurting or helping Stanton.

Like he is pressing to try and keep up with guys like Didi and Judge who are making it look so easy

I honestly don't think so - he always has huge smiles when greeting them at the plate and running back to the dugout, which is what made me write that post. I think all these other people doing things is a pleasant distraction for him, rather than anything negative.

He's definitely still torturing himself after his "failures" though.

Getting dominated against sliders at the moment:
wRC+ 51 against sliders, above average against everything else.

He's also just not hitting righties:
    v L: wRC+ 175
    v R: wRC+ 86

he took 2 steps back with last night performance.. with his stance all you have to do is thrown him breaking ball after breaking ball on the outside corner and he can't touch it...

Not worried in the slightest about it.

What do you mean about his stance? He has a closed stance, which traditionally means better plate coverage on the outer half.
