These headings "The Hunt" are absurd; are we are on a jungle safari? or shooting big game?

I think JDP is having a bit of fun with this. Although, JDP is one who is always completely serious.

It's also kind on funny since Otani and Stanton weren't "hunting" scenarios as much as they were "fall into our lap" scenarios.

i have no issue if the yankees eat enough salary to make him a 3 year 21M dollar player, the issue is that damn NTC. He could simply say no.

He wasn’t even the only Ken. There was Holtzman, too.

And as such, it makes trading him unlikely.

I think small market teams are only at play here...Think Pirates, Padres, Mariners, Royals, Twins, Athletics. Not many people need a OF like him. He'll be our 4th OF for a while until the Yankees outright release him in a few seasons. Too much money to release right now.
The real reason why the Yankees keep winning is cause the other team can't stop staring at the damn pinstripes

Right now, he's the Yankees' SIXTH outfielder, behind Stanton, Judge, Gardner, Hicks, and Frazier.
