    Wildcard Game on Cablevision PSA

Just a PSA- thereís a really good chance cablevision will be losing ESPN (and ABC and Disney channels) tomorrow, just in time for the wild card game, which of course airs on ESPN.

If this happens, PlayStation Vue, Directv Now and Sling TV all carry ESPN and all have free trials. Considering itís the only playoff game on ESPN, that trial should be sufficient.

Just letting you know now so no one is freaking out on Tuesday...

UPDATED: Altice Reaches Deal With Disney, Averting Blackout of ESPN and Other Channels

It seems they reached an agreement but have to finalize details but blackout will be avoided.

Great news! Though it doesn’t seem like the blackout is avoided yet, just the deadline was extended. As long as it’s after Tuesday, we’re good.

...although as a parent of a toddler who loves Disney jr shows, avoiding a blackout altogether would be much appreciated.

”We have reached an agreement in principle and have extended the deadline accordingly to try and finalize the terms.”
