I don't know for sure about Kershaw so you're probably not facing him. Unless I see a start pop up on his schedule before roster lock.

No I meant finish with most points out of playoffs and get #1 pick next year or make the playoffs.

What is the playoff race looking like ? I think I have some outside chance of getting in ? maybe not ? I think I gotta beat miko and have the empire lose ?

    It's a cluster.

    Here are the rules

If there is a tie a playoff spot, the tie will be broken as follows:

If two or more teams are tied from the same division:
    1) Head-to-head record
    2) Points scored, season
    3) Points differential between teams

If three teams are tied, with two in the same division:
    1) Break division tie first using two-team rules
    2) Head-to-head among two remaining teams (only one game between them, winner takes all)

If three or more teams are tied from three different divisions:
    1) Head-to-head record
    2) Points scored, season
    3) Points differential between teams
Right now Miko and Steve are tied for best record WC. Since they are from different divisions, the tie is broken by H2H record, which I believe Steve has. That means Steve gets the record WC. I have a slight lead in points over you, so I get points WC.

If Miko wins and Steve loses, Miko gets the best record WC

If you win and Steve wins, then Steve gets the record WC.

If you win and I win, then the THREE of you are tied for best record WC.

Then we first have to tie-break you and Miko. You beat Miko once already and this would make a second win, so you win the tie-break. Then we tie-break you and Steve. You lost to Steve, so Steve would win the best record WC again.

You and I only have a chance for the most points WC. The one who finishes with most points gets a WC spot, the other gets Kershaw.

So, basically, the playoffs so far are:

    1. RoYanks
    2. PlanEx
    3. SNPP
    4. EE/Miko
    5. Force/Hobbled Men

    Eliminated:

    Everyone else

thanks for the breakdown. Looks like I'll get on the outside looking in. I've never had the #1 pick before so at least I am looking good for that.

You at least have a chance to move on to the next round. I have only 5 starts next week so I'm definitely 1 and done and I'd rather have the #1 draft pick

I can't believe I am getting a screw job on the last week of the season again this year.
Damn Steve! Oh well, it was fun going for it then not and then going for it and then not and finally going for it again.
I promise I will learn from my mistakes next year. I was playing the last couple weeks with the thought that the first WC went to points. Ugh! I think I might be the dumbest GM here. Bring on 2018!

We need threads for keeper declaration and an offseason trade thread immediately! LOL

Lynn, Sale and Arrieta? Yep. Sure were! I can't wait for the beast to be unleashed on my playoff opponent. Kershaw will be back with a vengeance.

You did get a monster back in Blackmon though. Scored way more points than I had anticipated. You won that deal in points. But I needed Lynn.

Re: NYYFans FB League - Week 22 (the last week)

We have reached the final 2 days for 13/18ths of our teams.

It's Saturday, how we doin'? (in Indigo)

    Carolina Force (13-8) @ Miko's Marauders (14-7)
A battle between 2 teams in search of the postseason. Not quite 300 points combined. However, all is not lost. The Merry Mikoes lead by a dozen, but the Forceful One's have the 1-0 PSR advantage. Can LSev give the Force the win?
    Team Leaders:
CF: Alas, no player with the required 20 pts.
MM: Jimmy Olsen, I mean, Nelson 28.5 pts

Guys with Wood (10-11) @ Romanian Yankees (17-4)
There's little chance of the RoYanks picking up that elusive 18th win. Heh, just kidding. They're rolling over the Woodies. You'd have to think the Woodies would have liked to land at .500 this season, but that won't happen. RoY leads by 107 and has a 3-2 PSR adv.
    Team Leaders:
GwW: Jose Berrios (he cares) 30.5 pts
RoY: Jeff Samargodzilla (or something) - a whopping 46.5 pts

    Larrupin' Lou's (7-14) @ Mrs. Bill and Sluggo (9-12)
Another week another illegal roster for the Lou's. They still have 2 relievers in starting pitching slots. Mrs Bill has a comfortable lead against the absentee owner. At least one team here is playing for pride.
    Team Leaders:
LL: Rafael (Donatelo Michaelangelo Leonardo) Montero 33 pts
MB&S: Jorge (enfuego) Polanco 30.5 pts

    Felonious Punks (8-13) @ Powerplant (13-8)
The Plant has secured their playoff slotting. They're just going for a better record. Punks are playing to stay out of the basement. Plant leads by 28. No further starting pitching in this contest.
    Team Leaders:
FP: Clever Mike Clevinger 27 pts
SNP: Stephen (stratosphere) Strasburg 44 pts

    Lebowski Achievers (7-14) @ Buckeye Nation (10-11)
Pride Game. Nation looks to finish at .500 & they probably will. Achiever's look to a better 2018.
    Team Leaders:
    LA: Nick Castellanos 20.5 pts
BN: Albert (Hall of Famer) Pujols 26.5 pts

    Tattered (12-9) @ Evil Empire (14-7)
In this one, the Empire are just trying to figure out where they'll land in the post season landscape. It's looking like they are slated for the 4th seed. They have this matchup in hand. Stirrups looking to nail down the 5th seed and a rematch next week.
    Team Leaders:
TS: Aaron (New Orleans, Louisiana) Nola 26 pts
EE: Chris (One Day) Sale 33.5 pts

    Judgement Day (5-16) @ Try2BeatMe (6-15)
Pride Game, and Judgement Day is looking for company among the worst record ranks. It looks like they will get their wish.
    Team Leaders:
JD: Andrew Ben Nintendo64 24.5 pts
    TTBM: Whoops. No one yet.

    Planet Express (15-6) @ The Lumberjacks (10-11)
The Express will win this one and secure the 2nd seed. Jack's hope for a .500 record is dashed.
    Team Leaders:
PE: Max (is backs, the neck seemingly better) 26 pts
L: (Me and) Julio Teheran 26 pts

    Wolverines (7-14) @ Ligers (12-9)
Pride game among 2 longtime rivals. Wolvies look to stay out of the Mantle basement and they are within 29 of the Ligers in the only match with 2 teams over 200 pts. PSRs are at 1 a piece, so it's anyone's game.
    Team Leaders:
    MW: John (mushface) Lackey 29.5
L: Manny Macho Machado 29 pts

A soggy Labor Day Weekend for the northeast. How will this affect the end of the regular season. Stay dry all.

Re: NYYFans FB League - Week 22 (the last week)

We have reached the final 1 day for 13/18ths of our teams.

It's Saturday, how we doin'? (in Indigo)
Sunday means - Prediction time (in green):

    Carolina Force (13-8) @ Miko's Marauders (14-7)
A battle between 2 teams in search of the postseason. Not quite 300 points combined. However, all is not lost. The Merry Mikoes lead by a dozen, but the Forceful One's have the 1-0 PSR advantage. Can LSev give the Force the win?
    Team Leaders:
CF: Alas, no player with the required 20 pts.
MM: Jimmy Olsen, I mean, Nelson 28.5 pts

Prediction: The Force took over the lead in this one and will pick up win 14, a nice 14 win season for the Carolina Boys. Miko will end up with the same record and miss the playoffs. Force still has an outside shot at the wild card, but that dream is fading.

Prediction: This one is long over. The only question remains if the RoYanks will ever lose again? The Woodsters faltered in the second half, but set up some things to improve themselves for 2018. I'm predicting they choose Rendon in round 1 next year.

Prediction: Mrs Bill will march to a victory here, to nail down win 10. It's nice to get to that double digit win plateau, as well as butting an end to that nasty losing streak. Credit to the Mrs. Bill organization for always looking to improve their team all season long. Lou's need penalties (for the last several weeks - this could have draft round implications) issued.

    Felonious Punks (8-13) @ Powerplant (13-8)
The Plant has secured their playoff slotting. They're just going for a better record. Punks are playing to stay out of the basement. Plant leads by 28. No further starting pitching in this contest.
    Team Leaders:
FP: Clever Mike Clevinger 27 pts
SNP: Stephen (stratosphere) Strasburg 44 pts

Prediction: While it matters not, the Plant should nail this one down.

    Lebowski Achievers (7-14) @ Buckeye Nation (10-11)
Pride Game. Nation looks to finish at .500 & they probably will. Achiever's look to a better 2018.
    Team Leaders:
    LA: Nick Castellanos 20.5 pts
BN: Albert (Hall of Famer) Pujols 26.5 pts

Prediction: The Buckeye Nation will end their season with a win to secure a third place finish and a .500 record. A nice job this season by both of our expansion clubs.
The Nation came out strong and opened some eyes early. The Achievers stayed very active all year with attempts to better their team and set up for next season. Kudos to both. Very welcomed additions to the League.

Prediction: The Empire takes this one with ease, but the Tattered Souls are just about a lock for the postseason as the 5th seed.

    Judgement Day (5-16) @ Try2BeatMe (6-15)
Pride Game, and Judgement Day is looking for company among the worst record ranks. It looks like they will get their wish.
    Team Leaders:
JD: Andrew Ben Nintendo64 24.5 pts
    TTBM: Whoops. No one yet.

Prediction: Judgement Day looks to be in good shape to win this one. Credit to JudDay for keeping active all season in a very rough year. They had a better year then their record indicated. Take a look at the points against, the Judgement Daysters really had a tough schedule. As for Try To Beat Me - they are a team in the league.

    Planet Express (15-6) @ The Lumberjacks (10-11)
The Express will win this one and secure the 2nd seed. Jack's hope for a .500 record is dashed.
    Team Leaders:
PE: Max (is backs, the neck seemingly better) 26 pts
L: (Me and) Julio Teheran 26 pts

Prediction: The Express will pick up win 16 and the second seed. Enjoy the week off. The Jacks are Jacked for the future. What a dynamo on the rise. (& thanks for your service fighting those fires sir)

    Wolverines (7-14) @ Ligers (12-9)
Pride game among 2 longtime rivals. Wolvies look to stay out of the Mantle basement and they are within 29 of the Ligers in the only match with 2 teams over 200 pts. PSRs are at 1 a piece, so it's anyone's game.
    Team Leaders:
    MW: John (mushface) Lackey 29.5
L: Manny Macho Machado 29 pts

Prediction: Of course, the Ligers are embroiled in another close matchup as we head to Sunday. Looks like this one is too close to call. Kudos to the Wolvies, who got up off the deck and won 5 of their last 7 weeks. A nice job of never giving up by a long time tough opponent.

Enjoy Sunday and the last day of Fantasy for the majority of us. Maybe it will be a magical day.
