This week should clear up some races. Or make them even muddier.

Re: NYYFans FB League - Week 20

If the season ended today, the teams in the playoffs would be:

    1. RoYanks
    2. Planet Express
    3. SNPP
    4. EE (best record because Carolina Force wins the tiebreaker w/Miko in the intra-division fight because of their H2H win and then Force loses the same H2H tiebreak to EE)
    5. Hobbled Men (most points of teams that are not 1-4 above)

    I think.

I have the same problem playing the second best.

Two big games at least. Interesting week.

Re: NYYFans FB League - Week 20

Sadly, no posts in this thread for 4 days. Sigh.

Anyway, it's Saturday, how we doin'? (in red):

    Larrupin' Lou's (7-12) @ Miko's Marauders (12-7)
The MikoMen need a win and look to have this one well in hand. With PSRs tied at 2, the Canadian holds a large 110.5 pt lead. The Miko quest for a Wild Card spot continues.
    Team Leaders:
LL: Josh (my gosh) Donaldson = 35.5
MM: Anthony (Frank, tough guy) Rizzo = 37.5

Mrs. Bill and Sluggo (9-10) @ Guys with Wood (9-10)
Pride game 1. The Woodies have the inside track to a .500 record. They have the 3-2 PSR ad and a 44.5 pt lead.
    Team Leaders:
MBS: Chad (great to see him back) Bettis = 20
GwW: Nicky (the Steak) Delmonico = 27

    Romanian Yankees (75-1), er, I mean (15-4) @ Carolina Force (12-7)
Obviously the RoYanks are playoff bound. Force is looking to stay in the Wild Card race. A win is not in the cards for the Force this week. PSRs are 2-2. The lead is 91 for the Euro/Canadian Yanks.
    Team Leaders:
RY: Danny (so Bazaar) Salazar = 31
CF: Luis (might be an ok reliever) Severino = 25.5

    Buckeye Nation (10-9) @ Felonious Punks (6-13)
Punks playing for pride. BNats still hoping for an outside chance at the playoffs. This is not going well for the Nats. While they do have a 4-3 PSR adv, they are down 74 points. The least points scored so far this week.
    Team Leaders:
BN: Sadly no player meets the 20 pt minimum.
FP: Keon (Neon) Broxton = 23

    Powerplant (12-7) @ Michigan Wolverines (6-13)
The Plant is on the verge of clinching the Mantle Division. It's all but in the bag. Close in score (Plant up by 2), but the Plant should win this due to the 4-2 PSR adv.
    Team Leaders:
SNP: Zack (attack) Greinke = 26.5
MW: Kyle (back to form?) Schwarber = 22.5

    Planet Express (14-5) @ Evil Empire (12-7)
The Empire needs this in a big way and they are, thus far, coming through. With the weekly points lead of 251 and a lead of 29.5 and also the 3-1 PSR, they are set up to put this one away and inch closer to the PLExpress. Maxie's pain in the neck is also a pain in the neck for the Express. The Express are hoping for a meltdown Sale today in this important contest.
    Team Leaders:
PE: Justin (Downtown) Upton = 25
EE: Edwin (the milkshake) Encarnacion = 34

    The Lumberjacks (9-10) @ Judgement Day (5-14)
In just the second Pride game of the week, this one is close city. The JDs lead by 9 pts and have a 3-2 PSR ad. JD is hoping for win 6. The Jacks hope to overcome the odds to even their record at 10.
    Team Leaders:
L: Tim Beckham (really?) and Julio Teheran = 23 each
JD: Gary (the Kracken) Sanchez = 33.5

    Try2BeatMe (5-14) @ Those Hobbled Men (11-8)
The Hobblers still have an outside chance for a Wild Card berth. But this week is not helping. The Try Too's lead this one by 46.5. The Men in Hobbled do have a 1-0 PSR ad. So all hope is not lost.
    Team Leaders:
TTBM: Clayton Richard with an amazing 46 points (also must mention Jay Bruce's 36.5)
THMiTTS: Byron Buxton's 23.5 barely covers the 3 guys in the negative.

    Lebowski Achievers (7-12) @ Ligers (10-9)
Game three playing for pride... The Ligers have a bit of an advantage going into the weekend, but Lebby is still looking for win 8. Anything can happen and usually does.
    Team Leaders:
LA: Joey (to the)Gallo(s, wit you) = 23.5
    L: Man(onfire)ny Machado = 34

Have a pleasant weekend (for those of you who celebrate weekends).

Re: NYYFans FB League - Week 20

Saturday, how we doin'? (in red):
    Prediction Sunday (in blue):

    Larrupin' Lou's (7-12) @ Miko's Marauders (12-7)
The MikoMen need a win and look to have this one well in hand. With PSRs tied at 2, the Canadian holds a large 110.5 pt lead. The Miko quest for a Wild Card spot continues.
    Team Leaders:
LL: Josh (my gosh) Donaldson = 35.5
MM: Anthony (Frank, tough guy) Rizzo = 37.5

Miko on a mission and this week mission accomplished. Marauders with win 13.

Woodies will prevail. Mrs Bill will fall 2 games below .500 as Woodster evens their record at 10-10

Da Force inched a little closer on Saturday, but RYanks will move to 16-4, dropping Carolina to 12-8.

Punky puts a proverbial pumpkin-turner into the Nation's playoff push.

    Powerplant (12-7) @ Michigan Wolverines (6-13)
The Plant is on the verge of clinching the Mantle Division. It's all but in the bag. Close in score (Plant up by 2), but the Plant should win this due to the 4-2 PSR adv.
    Team Leaders:
SNP: Zack (attack) Greinke = 26.5
MW: Kyle (back to form?) Schwarber = 22.5

Interesting close match here. Plant has the lead by 6.5 and a 2-1 PSR ad today. That should be enough to put away the Mantle Division.

Express up by 19. Empire's hopes are pinned on Porcello and Nova. Very tough call here.
Coin flip says Evil Empire wins a nail biter.

This one looks like win 6 for Judgement Day.

Hobble's 1-0 PSR adv will not be enough to win this week.

    Lebowski Achievers (7-12) @ Ligers (10-9)
Game three playing for pride... The Ligers have a bit of an advantage going into the weekend, but Lebby is still looking for win 8. Anything can happen and usually does.
    Team Leaders:
LA: Joey (to the)Gallo(s, wit you) = 23.5
    L: Man(onfire)ny Machado = 34

Lebster's 2-1 PSR adv is hope for a victory. Still way too close to call this one.

Make your Sunday an awesome Sunday.
