Same for my loss to the Lou's back in week whatever when I led by 15 or so points and K-Rod had a meltdown on Sunday night and I ended up losing.

    Sigh.

    I traded away:
    Mike Trout
    Carlos Quintana
    Sal Perez
    Kyle Hedricks
    (and probably...)
    AJ Pollock
    &
    Carlos Martinez

thinking, I'd lose last week and the Plant would win. That would have put me 3 games out and done.

Well, I won, the Plant lost and I'm a game out and playing the Plant this week.

Now what do I do with 2 days left to trade?

Re: NYYFans FB League - Week 19

Week 19 brought a flurry of trading activity in the early part of the week as the deadline struck. Now the pieces get sorted. 5 days in the books, 2 to go.

How are we doing thus far (in red):

    Larrupin' Lou's (6-12) @ Guys with Wood (9-9)

In Pride Game 1, the Lou's hold the lead by a dozen and a half points. Woodies have the 3-1 PSR advantage. The He-Man Rendon Haters Club would look to be in good shape here.
    Team Leaders:
LL: Marco (somewhere in the distance a faint "Polo" is uttered) Estrada = 26
GwW: No One with the required 20 pts to deserve a mention here.

Mrs. Bill and Sluggo (9-9) @ Carolina Force (11-7)

In this matchup of importance to the Force, they have the lead by 22.5 pts. Mrs Bill and her Nemesis has a shot with the 4-3 PSR adv. The Force needs to hold on. Losses are a killer at this juncture.
    Team Leaders:
MB&S: Wise Free Agent pick up Trevor Williams = 30.5
CF: Nelson (You crazy, what er you doing) Cruz = 34

    Miko's Marauders (12-5) @ Romanian Yankees (14-4)

We'll, I'm convinced. The Romanian Yankees have cast some kind of Transylvanian spell over the league this year. There's no other explanation. In what should have been one of the match-ups of the week, they are destroying the always tough Original Canadian team by nearly 200 points. Miko, surely under spell, has scored 68.5 points so far. I mean, WTF. This loss is going to hurt Miko to the core.
    Team Leaders:
    MM: Michael (un)Conforto(able) = 25
RY: Dozier, Molina, Carpenter all have 29 or better, but Corey (sunglasses at night) Kluber = 42.5

    Lebowski Achievers (6-12) @ Felonious Punks (6-12)

Playing for pride game 2. The LebAches are in the driver's seat with a 32 pt lead and a 3-2 PSR ad. The battle for 7 wins continues later today.
    Team Leaders:
LA: Khris (no one wanted him) Davis = 25
FP: O'Dubel (top of the mornin' to ya) McHerrera = 28.5

    Buckeye Nation (10-8) @ Michigan Wolverines (5-13)

In a game of much importance to the Buckeye Nation, they are having a rough go of it. The Wolvies play the role of spoiler as they lead by a comfortable 56.5 pts here. PSRs are tied at 1, so they don't figure to figure.
    Team Leaders:
BN: Gerrit (I'm also gonna need you to go ahead and come in on Sunday too, kay) Cole = 23.5
MW: Mike (chocolate) Moustakas = 26.5

    Planet Express (13-5) @ Judgement Day (5-13)

The Express find themselves in a surprising battle here, with just a 19 pt lead. Maxie and the Archer should ensure a victory though as the JD's have no further starts this week.
    Team Leaders:
PE: Joey (play the Lotto) Votto & Carlos Carrrrrrrasco = each with 34
JD: Dexter (no one wanted him either) Fowler = 35 (also of note Bartolo, he ain't done yet, Colon put up 27.5 pts)

The Lumberjacks (9-9) @ Those Hobbled Men (10-8)

The Commish needs a win in a bad way here. They hold the lead by 31. They also have a 3-1 PSR ad. They should hold on.
    Team Leaders:
tL: Cole (the Liger) Hamls = 28.5
THMiBOtVFRNTZ11OMY: Chris (on the move again) Sale = 36.5

    Empire (11-7) @ Try2BeatMe (5-13)

The Empire trying to keep pace with the Express and in the Wild Card Race are in good shape in this game. They lead by 47.5 with a PSR in hand.
    Team Leaders:
EE: Eugenio (Rico) Suarez = 26
    TTBM: Jose Bautista = 22.5

    Ligers (10-8) @ Powerplant (11-7)

...and we come to a huge game for these two long time rivals. A win by the Powerplant almost 100% gives them the division and casts the Ligers to the curb like yesterday's trash. A win by the Ligers puts them in a tie for first place and gives them the tiebreaker over the Plant. That said, due to horrible Starting Pitching by the Ligers on Friday, the Plant are in the driver's seat. They lead by 23.5. The Ligers have 1-0 PSRs and that the inconsistent Carlos Martinez in his last Liger appearance. Stay tuned.
    Team Leaders:
L: Justin (the nick of time he's pitching better) Verlander = 32
SNP: Jacob (the) Grom = 30.5

    Have a nice Weekend all.

Re: NYYFans FB League - Week 19

Saturday: How are we doing thus far (in red):
    Sunday: Prediction time (in blue):

    Larrupin' Lou's (6-12) @ Guys with Wood (9-9)

In Pride Game 1, the Lou's hold the lead by a dozen and a half points. Woodies have the 3-1 PSR advantage. The He-Man Rendon Haters Club would look to be in good shape here.
    Team Leaders:
LL: Marco (somewhere in the distance a faint "Polo" is uttered) Estrada = 26
GwW: No One with the required 20 pts to deserve a mention here.

Notes: Woodies find themselves further back after a lackluster Saturday. This one will depend on Worley dominating someone other than the Nationals.
Prediction: I think Worley does not. We'll go with the Lou's to upset here.

The Force added another 12.5 pts to their lead.
Notes: That lead should hold up, giving the Force 12 wins.
    Prediction:

    Miko's Marauders (12-5) @ Romanian Yankees (14-4)

We'll, I'm convinced. The Romanian Yankees have cast some kind of Transylvanian spell over the league this year. There's no other explanation. In what should have been one of the match-ups of the week, they are destroying the always tough Original Canadian team by nearly 200 points. Miko, surely under spell, has scored 68.5 points so far. Team Leaders:
    MM: Michael (un)Conforto(able) = 25
RY: Dozier, Molina, Carpenter all have 29 or better, but Corey (sunglasses at night) Kluber = 42.5

Notes: If Miko can score 169 points today and hold the Romanian Yankees to none...
Prediction: The Ro Yanks will still win. I'm out, dangerously, on a limb here, but the RoYs get win 15.

Notes: The Achies have Garza, Vargas and Bridwell all going for the 2nd time this week. The total points of those three the first time this week was 0.
Prediction: I still think the Achies will prevail.

Notes: The Wolf of Michigan Street ups their lead to 64. The BNation faces their third straight loss.
Prediction: The BNation will get their third straight loss.

Notes: Planet Exp always seems to be in these tight battles going into Sunday. Teams seem to rise to the occasion when playing on the Planet. However, only a Max meltdown will sink the Express this time. The Express has the second most points so far this week, and JD is sitting with the 3rd most.
Prediction: A great week for Judgement Day, but it won't be enough as the Express wins for the 14th time.

Notes: Zimmerman and Rodney killed any LJack chances this week. HMen now with a commanding lead and his last two starts from Sale and Arrieta go down on Sunday.
Prediction: HMen pick up win 11.

    Empire (11-7) @ Try2BeatMe (5-13)

The Empire trying to keep pace with the Express and in the Wild Card Race are in good shape in this game. They lead by 47.5 with a PSR in hand.
    Team Leaders:
EE: Eugenio (Rico) Suarez = 26
    TTBM: Jose Bautista = 22.5

Notes: Not much scoring, not much movement on Sunday. Double E's lead is fifty.
Prediction: Double E's lead is safe. They'll easily pick up win 12.

Notes: Well, first place and likely the winner of the Mantle Division comes down to today. The Ligers only knocked 7.5 pts off the Plant's lead on a day where the last Starter pitched.
The division comes down to Batters and Bullpens.
Prediction: The Plant's 15.5 lead should hold up. Congrats Mike. A well-played week.

    Have a nice Sunday all.

The Ligers sadly look back at their 4 point loss in week 12 to the Force and even more sadly at the All Star Game week loss by 0.50 pts to the Lou's.

    Sigh.

I missed the playoffs one year because of a TIE.

But yeah I'm also thinking about last week when I had the game locked up and smelly Cabrera put up 15.5 points in the Sunday night game to give miko the win

Edit: it autocorrected Melky to smelly. I'm leaving it.

Nice of the Ligers to take a day off on Sunday.

Maybe Judge will go yard 4 or 5 times tonight.

Oh, and Arenado is hurt. F.
