Unfortunately, KC seems to be in a good way. Won again tonight.

They also made a trade today that will slightly improve their pitching.

The way the AL East is evolving, it may only take 88-91 wins to get you 1st place in the the division.

    Re: 2017 Scoreboard Thread

You know what I just realized? We've played a lot more games on the road so far, meaning ROS more home than road games. Great news. Red Sox too tho however. Rays, not really

Yankees: 97 games played, 43 home, 54 road

Red Sox: 100 games played, 47 home, 53 road

Rays: 99 games played, 49 home, 50 road

And according to ROS Strength of Schedule rankings Rays are 1st, Boston 6th, and Yankees 16th. Baltimore 4th and Toronto 7th if it matters.

    Good news guys

    ^ that's good.

This weekend, Yanks play the Rays while the Sox play KC. Could be a massive weekend for us.

8 teams are 3.5 games apart in WC chase.

No NL teams are within 5 games of WC leaders.

If this was Darvish's last start for Texas it sure was ugly:

    3.2 IP, 10 ER, 9 H, 2 BB, 5 K
    Bad manager.

Yanks in 1st place in the division!

Boston has a tough schedule this upcoming week.

Two vs KC then 3 vs Cleveland.

Two hottest teams in the AL

Eduardo Rodriguez is pitching a super economical shutout up in Fenway. Only 79 pitches through 3!
2016 - At least we won as many postseason games as the Red Sox

    Re: 2017 Scoreboard Thread

I took a look at Boston's division splits:

    Against

    East: 21-22; Central: 12-10; West 13-12; Interleague 11-4.

As far as the AL goes, they are barely a .500+ team. Almost all the games over .500 are due to interleague. Those games against the Phillies that nobody else has are a big part of their success so far. Won't happen again this year (or next).
"Deep to left! Yastrzemski will not get it! It's a home run! A three-run homer by Bucky Dent! And the Yankees now lead by a score of 3-2!" - New York Yankees announcer Bill White (October 2, 1978)

If Houston can do its part, today will have been a near-perfect scoreboard day.

Can't believe Baltimore is sort of in the mix.

Astros had 6-3 lead in the 8th but Angels had two on with two outs. So Houston brought in Clippard. Single, HR and Angels win 7-6.
