A lot of money on that contract. Its all about winning but the world doesnt end after the world series,

    Let's go Nats!
I don't know if there is, or ever was, a manager that I've despised more than Maddon.
I hope Harper hit 3 homers today!

Which NL team would be best for the Yankees to oppose (if) after they beat the Astros? I would have to think that any of the three still standing (Nats, Dodgers, or Cubs) would make for an epic World Series

Has to be the Cubbies, right? Nats have Scherzer and Strasburg. Dodgers have an endless amount of good/great starters(Kershaw, Darvish, Hill, Wood, etc.). We would definitely be favored against the Cubs.

All 5 teams left are good. But of the NL teams I agree the Cubs are the least good? Still any team left can win it all so I'm not really pulling for any NL team just rooting for Yanks to do best.

The annual Dusty Baker move to the bullpen that puts the nationals behind has just occurred.
If they ask who was our star, give them 25 names, and if you forget our names, just tell them we were Yankees.

You'd think he would pull him before he turned a 4-3 lead into a 7-4 deficit, no?

He got Rizzo and Bryant easy to start and did K Baez to disasterous results.

It all started with 2 outs, but at some point you've got to pull him. Can't let it get out of hand.

    Girardi's reprieve...

    Re: 2017 Scoreboard Thread

I’m still waiting for the angle that shows *conclusively* that Rizzo’s glove was still on Lobaton’s body when his foot came off the bag.

I mean, I thought the one thing the umps could never do was ‘best guess’ a situation while looking at the video?

    Also up for grabs:

    1) The non-call on the bat that whacked Wieters in the noggin while in his crouch in the catcher's box? Bizarre. How was that not a dead ball? As in, nothing happens on the play at all, batter awarded a strike for his bat's boo-boo? Strike three.

    2) Curious non-call on Jay's slide into 2nd. Seems to me he obstruction could've been called there, because that's the very slide they were looking to eliminate when they created that rule.

Dusty Baker may be the worst manager I've ever seen...

Thanks for nothing, Nats. Now I have to endure the complete jerkoff-ness of Joe Maddon for another week AND I have to root for the friggin Dodgers.
