    But on the down side, his K/9 dropped from 15 with CHI to 10.48 with NYY. Still good but I think he was overperforming a bit with the White Sox.
    David Ortiz tested positive for performance enhancing drugs in 2003.

    Isn't he from NY somewhere? Maybe he's feeling some pressure being in the Majors in his home State.


    Personally, I think he will be fine.

    Every outing is an adventure. He doesn't miss bats or get that strikeout when needed. Always seems to be struggling. His numbers since coming here (though not really exceptional -1.35 WHIP) don't tell the whole story. He's not exactly DRob who's worked out of jams his whole career. And those $&@! annoying jazz hands.

    Don't like.

    He is from the Albany area. Roundabout 2.5 hours from the Bronx.
