Don't know if anybody already posted this, but the games the 12-game and 9-game plans and the added games for the Fri/Sat/Sun 16-games plans are available if you go to the page that lists next year's plans for sale:

Thanks ... the Sunday plan includes 14 Sundays (IIRC it's usually 13) plus 2 weekday Red Sox games (Tues May 18 and Thurs Sept 20) and includes Red Sox and Mets Sunday games. Plus you will be offered Opening Day as an add on. That's pretty nice if you like to go to Sunday games. Now if they add the long awaited Horace Clark ceremony day on Sun May 6 then it would be the ideal plan

So this implies that Wed 4/4 and Thurs 4/26 will be day games.

    thats interesting
The real reason why the Yankees keep winning is cause the other team can't stop staring at the damn pinstripes

Makes sense. Rays play day game on the 4th, then travel to Boston for their opening day game on the 5th. Not fair to make the Rays play a day game after a night game after travel. Even though it's a quick flight.

The 26th makes a little less sense. Twins flying home for a night game the next night.

Not that I would want a night game but the Rays never give the Yankees a break on the getaway game at their park. A few seasons ago Yankees had a Thursday night game at Tampa Bay and had to fly to Seattle for a game the next night.

I thought this was all covered by the Union contract not by team choice

It might be covered in the new contract. Was not covered in the previous one.

Definitely covered in the new contract. Getaway day has to be played in the afternoon if one team has a long flight for a game the next night. It also serves to ESPN-proof a few Sunday games, especially against west coast teams.

Yeah there are specific days teams have to play day games in the last game of a series. Here's the link: http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/1...s-getaway-days

Game times are now posted for about half, but not all, of the Yankees' home games.

The Mets 2018 promotional schedule is now out. Bobble heads are now for the first 25,000 fans, up from the 15,000 in previous years. Yankees bobble heads have been for the first 18,000 fans. With the larger capacity at Yankee Stadium versus Citi Field, I hope the Yankees make a similar move. Would cut down on the long lines before the gates open, and shouldn't cost the team anything since the bobble heads are sponsored.

More game times posted now. Only a handful of Saturday and Sunday games times are still "TBD."

    Re: Piecing the 2018 schedule

Wonder why no time listed for the home opener. Usually a 1;05 start.

    Re: Piecing the 2018 schedule

ESPN already issued a press release stating that 4/2 will be a 1:05 start

I got the impression that Old Timer's Day would be 7/29 vs Kansas City.

Looking forward to seeing Pat Kelly and Jesse Barfield!
