He's making lineup adjustments (7/17 the last one I see) in our roto league, so I know he's alive. I texted him last week but I didn't get a response. I know he's been busy. I think with political stuff and work. He's become personally active in politics.

    REPLACEMENT LEVEL WEEKEND UPDATE:

John is on a camping trip, dodging bears and mosquitos, so he asked me to fill in and be his Torreyes for the weekend! No one can really replace John, but here goes:

    Guys with Wood (8-7) @ Miko's Marauders (9-6)
The manic trader holds a 41 point lead over the Woodies and sports a 5-3 PSR advantage. The law firm of Stanton and Strasberg pave the way for the Canadian with a combined 55 points. Ian Kinsler checks in with 18 for Wood. Crazy Jerry should hold on here for the win.

    Carolina Force (9-6) @ Larrupin' Lou's (4-11)
The Force heads into the weekend with the most points in the league this week with 224. Luis “The Ace” Severino really helped out last night with 7 scoreless. Adam “Not PacMan” Jones has 29.5 points to front the Force. The Lous are at 103, with a hot Brandon Moss showing 18.5 points. Both teams have 2 PSRs. Force takes this one and improves to 10-6

Romanian Yankees (11-4) @ Mrs. Bill and Sluggo (9-6)
Our Eastern European ally has pulled in front of the Mrs. 125.5 to 78.5. Sluggo holds a 4-2 PSR, but Ross may not start this weekend. Most of the Romanian Lamb-basting has come from Jake’s 24 points, while Sluggo is led by Duda’s 17. The game will tighten, but the Mad Romanian goes to 12-4.

    Evil Empire (9-6) @ Felonious Punks (6-9)
Eric “I want to be a Yankee” Hosmer leads the way for the Punks with 20.5 points, as the Punkies sport a 160.5 – 133.5 bulge over the Empire. As usual, Kershaw is the pick of the pack for the Evil one, with 26.5 points and a start remaining. Combine that with a 4-1 PSR advantage for The Kingdom and they should pull this out.

    Judgement Day (5-10) @ Lebowski Achievers (4-11)
Aren’t we proud of the Dudes! Led by Nick Catstellanos’ 26.5 points –a late addition to the lineup only because Todd Frazier was scheduled for two off days – the Lebbies hold a 138-83 lead over the Apocalyptic 9. M. Franco of the Phils is the high achiever for the Judges with 21.5 points. Lebbs holds a PSR advantage of 4-2, so they should hold on to win.

    Planet Express (11-4) @ Michigan Wolverines (3-12)
The Wolves have roared out in front of the celestial bodies this week to the tune of 166-126.5, and they are looking to pull off the biggest upset of the week given their 4-2 PSR lead. Little Pedey is the front runner in points for the Michigan team, with a robust 30.5. Seattle’s Paxton has 25.5 for the Spheres.
Those Hobbled Men (9-6) @ Buckeye Nation (9-6)
The upstart newbies from Ohio have made a positive impression on the league this year, and this trend continues unabated. Buckeyes are bashing the esteemed commish by a 153-88 score; Woody Hays would be proud. Gerrit Cole leads them with 23 points. The Hobbled Hobos are led by that Colorado man in the long black beard, who has a scorching 27.5 points. Ohio has a 3-2 PSR lead, and will improve to 10-6.

    The Lumberjacks (8-7) @ SN Powerplant (9-6)
Too close to call! The manly, hefty Lumberjacks hold a 126-99 lead over Homer Simpson’s boys. But with a 3-1 PSR lead the Nuclear Team could surge ahead. The Jacks are led by Gausmann’s 24, and the Power Plant have Harper and deGrom at 21.5 points each.

    Try2BeatMe (5-10) @ Ligers (7-8)
Our man John may be off camping, but he left a good game plan for his boys. In fact, they are performing Pham-tastically, led by Tomm’s 22.5 points . The BeatMes best is D Span with 14. The 131-65 lead should hold for the Ligers, but both teams have 4 PSR so the weekend bears watching.

Good Luck to everyone this weekend!
Standings: Big Inning 32-16; Blue Cut 27-21; Shoo Fly 26-22; Husk 22-26; Frank Pierce 21-27; Iowa City 16-32.

Thank you for Philling in Phil. Nicely done, and appreciated.

One correction, while there may be mosquitoes in Antigua, there will be no camping.
There's a fat old lady outside the saloon, laying out the credit cards she plays Fortune.
The deck is uneven right from the start, and all of their hands are playing apart
