considering that he's not tapping the full power of his body this is pretty good

Well, we should trade him then.

He does when he pulls the baseball

He's fine. He opens up when he needs too.

he's clearly not walking enough. he only has 64 walks - he's a full two walks behind the leader joey votto. disgraceful.

Once he's in the league for more than a week and establishes himself, I'm sure the walks will come.

Why would opposing pitchers be walking him now?

We are talking Frazier here, not Judge. Major league stats only.

Don't worry he keeps hitting homers and getting hits. He will walk

You really can't ask more from Frazier since he's come up

I like everything about him, with the exception of his arm. It has looked very erratic to say the least.

His arm and his fielding in general are suspect but the boy can hit.

Frazier is enjoyable to watch. Who was the last young, non-scrub Yankee you can recall being the type of guy to rack up two hustle doubles by running like his life depended on it on the way to first?

I mean, Gardner will do it somewhat, but he's old now.

True. Anyone seen enough of his arm in mL to say whether this has been an issue prior to his promotion? Seems to air mail throws - wondering if it's adrenaline or trying to do too much and will settle down?

His only issue defensively was jumps/routes, and that wasn't a glaring problem. It's all adrenaline with the arm right now - you could see that very clearly when he double pumped last night, preventing himself from getting caught up in the moment again.

I see stardom in Frazier's future. It's unlikely that all of Judge/Sanchez/Frazier/Bird/Torres end up becoming stars, but I certainly see it as a possibility at this point in time.

8 of his 12 hits have been for extra bases. Can't really expect that going forward

I do like watching the guy though

Exit Velo on Clint looks good in the early going so far. Of all hitters in the Majors who have had at least 30 BBE, Frazier currently ranks 23rd.

For perspective, Stanton and Harper rank 27th and 28th respectively.

Additionally, Judge is 1st and Sanchez is 11th.

I agree and the best part is he's only 22 and has room to grow. I would be very reluctant to include him in a deal.

Probably not, but he was a XBH machine in AAA.

Multiple All Star games remains my hope for all these guys, even for Bird. If it happens, the Yankees should be able to get to multiple WSs.

I would be shocked if they traded Frazier. None of those guys are going to be included in trades in 2017.

I'd have to say Frazier is pretty close to untouchable. He's been great since being called up and still has room to improve.

No, but a few of those were also hustle plays as well. His two doubles on Monday would have been singles for a lott of guys, but he was full steam ahead out of the box.
