NEW YORK -- Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks will go on the disabled list after he injured his ribcage on the right side during a check swing in the first inning Sunday.

Hicks was removed from a 7-6 loss to the Texas Rangers before the fifth inning. He was told that his recovery would take three to four weeks. Hicks was 1-for-2 in the game, lifting his average this season to .290 with a .398 on-base percentage. Hicks has 10 home runs and 37 RBIs, and general manager Brian Cashman has said that he should be an All-Star candidate.

And then amazingly a few innings later BEFORE he was removed from the game and with a very painful rib cage injury Hicks makes the catch of the decade!

I do not want Hicks back because when he does, that means Frazier goes back to Scranton.

    We just don't know

Re: DON"T LIE!! Ok now to the truth: Did you think Hick's had it in him all along?

Here is saddest of truths: When Hicks comes back, Clint will go down. In my perfect world, the outfield is Clint in left, Hicks in CF and Judge in right, with Gardner as a competent 4th outfielder and spare part. But it is Ellsbury's contract that stands in the way....this is so incredibly stupid.

Don't prolong a mistake! cut bait.
Standings: Big Inning 32-16; Blue Cut 27-21; Shoo Fly 26-22; Husk 22-26; Frank Pierce 21-27; Iowa City 16-32.
