I'm going Thursday and figure no one is getting skipped by either team. The question is will they try for a DHer on Thursday.
doubt it, no reason to not reschedule until later in the year. not like they only play at fenway once this season.

Man, I hope that Jeb! allows Jeter to be the face of the ownership team.

    If he's smart he will.

Happy for Jeter if this all works out, but it seems to detract from his relationship as a Yankee. I'd rather he own the Yankees because when the Yanks play Miami he'll be rooting for the team he owns, and that just seems so wrong.
    Let the kids play.

Has he had a relationship with the Yankees since his retirement?

Derek Jeter Day is coming up soon. Maybe by then he'll be introduced as the Marlins owner. I think it's deflating.

Kind of when I expected them to make it up. Good news is we should have Sanchez and Didi back for the makeup game.

I agree and Judge is hot and I was amped to see what he could do in Boston.

Judge will still play. I expect the Yankees to keep the same rotation. Gives Tanaka an extra day's rest.

Why should it be deflating. Was it deflating when Yogi became a coach for the Mets or when Joe D became a coach on the A's?

Don't think Hal was selling so what was Jeter supposed to do. At least not an AL team.

So, two of my favorite Yankees are affiliated with the Miami Marlins. Makes me want to put a spinning Marlin fountain in my front yard.

    Not really.

    Good for Jeter.

I didn't watch either player so I didn't have the associated attachment to the club.

From a PR standpoint, Yanks should have sold Jeter a small % of the organization now, to keep him in the family. Somewhere down the road there should be more opportunities to get a bigger piece of the pie.

I like that idea. Not sure Jeter would be interested in a small piece though, and it's not like he can make tens of millions building ships to invest in the club later on.
