Re: 2017 Binder Performance Thread
Can't let the long reliever with options overwork himself while he's dominating. He's not gonna have the luxury of a second relief ace for a month -- we're gonna see a few more of these micromanaging bullpen blunders.

Please bat Didi 9th.

The Binder Guy got a pretty nice round of applause when he was introduced at the Jeter ceremony

Re: 2017 Binder Performance Thread
So Joe leaves Green in to finish the game, allowing him to pitch 3 innings and getting 6 Ks. Seems no one ever comments on when Joe does what everyone seeemingly wants him to do - only when he doesn't. Yeah, I know... They were behind by 5 runs.

Re: 2017 Binder Performance Thread
3 regulars at the same time?
Can't you space them out? Give Headley the day off tonight and split Hicks and Sanchez over the next 2 days?

Re: 2017 Binder Performance Thread
Sanchez couldn't have pinch-hit there in the 9th?

Re: 2017 Binder Performance Thread
I guess Joe took the binder to his daughters graduation and Thomson simply did not know who or what he had available after the BP blew up tonight. Hicks and Sanchez not hitting in the 9th is curious, being kind, to say the least.

Looking up "Joe Girardi" on Twitter right now is amusing to say the least

Re: 2017 Binder Performance Thread
Used Clippard to get big outs against left handed hitters late in the game, gives us some insight into what he thinks of Layne and Shreve. Now its up to Cashman to provide better options.

Re: 2017 Binder Performance Thread
Shreve horrible against lefties. Brings him in to face lefties anyway. So so so so dumb.
Cashman also a moron for having Layne on roster over Webb.Calmer than you are
