I don't like much about the Red Sox, but their announcers are pretty good.
Did you listen to Constiglione on play-by-play? He's as good as they come.

No, I didn't hear the radio side on last nights game. I have listened to them before though and I agree, they are good as well.

I think they should just skip the HR Derby and award Judge the win.

Given the choice, I'd take Judge over Stanton right now. That contract will be an abomination.

Re: The Official 2017 Aaron Judge Performance Thread

I get the thinking on taking Judge over Stanton right now, but he is still going to slump at some point and we have no idea what his true talent level is (as much as we all want to believe this is it, and find statistical evidence to support that this could very well be it). The fact that there are even tangible odds on him being a comparable player to Stanton is mind-blowingly awesome for us as fans.

Regardless, he's pretty much as exciting to follow as a rookie can be. Not only does he play the part, but he LOOKS it to boot. Wildly entertaining player in just about every facet (including the fact that he's actively not entertaining in his personal expression on or off the field).

Re: The Official 2017 Aaron Judge Performance Thread

If you give him the bull................ triple HR that he deserved, he would have 8 HRs in 71 plate appearances.

And if you extrapolate that rate out to the number of PAs that guys hitting in the middle of the order have right now (about 90), he'd have 10 HRs, just off the ridiculous Eric Thames pace.

Yeah, wasn't referring specifically to any Trout discussion. The one (with several variants) that came to mind was Quintana.

Time to move up in the lineup, though the top guys have been performing for the most part so I don't know who you bump.

I'm not sure if you're a new poster or an OG who respawned after a long hiatus. Regardless, I like the cut of your jib, sir. Welcome aboard/back.
