Re: Best NFL TV Broadcast
How is he personable? Peyton did and does far more commercials and is better at public speaking yet he doesn't have a commenting job yet. I have never heard Romo even speak outside of mandatory press conferences and that NFL shop commerical. If he gets a commenting job as soon as he retires it would be because he played QB for the Cowboys.
Let first see him do some part time TV work doing the off season like some other near-retirement players did to showcase their potential.

Re: Best NFL TV Broadcast
What a joke. He has zero broadcasting experience and hasn't even done a test recording. Ex-Cowboys continue to cut the broadcasting/Analyst line to the top jobs.

Thanks. Looking forward to hearing him.
Also looking forward to Rex Ryan in the ESPN studio. He should be good there as well.
They're one of my 2 least favorite teams but there's no denying they drive ratings so of course this will happen. I'm 100% positive Romo will be better than Simms so that's all I care about.

Did Simms get dropped down to the #2 team, or is he out altogether?

Re: Best NFL TV Broadcast
CBS has said they hope he'll stay, though they haven't specifically said what role he'd continue in.
