No offense but your response is pretty disheartening. I believe one of the biggest problems we have in our country right now is a big segment of right wing voters don’t care about anything but trolling other Americans they don’t like. There’s no belief in anything anymore. It’s like rooting for a sports team.

@Yankee I don’t agree that this will change the headlines much. An affair with a porn Star involving a payoff is too much red media meat. And there seems to be a new bombshell from the Russia investigations daily. Then there’s Trump himself who can’t ever get out of his own way.

In fairness, it's not just right wing voters as some extreme left wing voters are the same. The level of political tribalism is really hurting this country because there is no room for negotiation, compromise and making deals that work for both parties.

It will change the headlines, but, I didn't say it how long that change will last. This whole Mueller investigation is just at the tip of the iceberg. A lot more stuff is coming and some of it is probably going to be worse than that porn star.

    Fixed that for you.

If you're not a fan of Trump's foreign policy, I can only imagine how you feel about Obama's failed foreign policies, including his atrocious record in the Middle East.

Might as well give it to him, because Trump is never getting it, even if he throws in a cure for cancer into the mix.

Let's not forget what the great Obama did to receive his.................he simply got elected!

I donít agree. The right wing extremism Iím talking about isnít extremism. Itís the mainstream of the party now as evidenced by their standard bearer. With the exception of abortion it seems every issue for this group boils down to whether or not it ďcreates snowflake tears.Ē The groups the mainstream consider ďextremist leftĒ are saying and doing based on a real belief in a cause. Theyíre generally not interested in making conservatives mad (Iím sure there are exceptions).

Then we're doom as a country if you feel the Republicans are as evil as you say. I try not to paint with a wide brush and I feel attitudes similar to yours are contributing to this political tribalism.

First, I'm not bickering. Secondly, why wouldn't I be serious? I provided quotes from SK leadership that I believe carries more weight than any of our biases, prejudices, suspicions and just plain dislike for the man.

I think you missed the point of my post.

Itís also true, though, that I donít think Trump is coordinating anything with SK in advance. Thatís tough to do when you donít even have an ambassador.

Unlike the tolerant, peace-loving, judgment-free, left, correct? How exactly do they treat those who don't share their opinion on any matter?

I was thinking I might have and should have asked for clarification before I responded. I read it a couple of ways, including a playful, facetious response to my "who are we to argue."

Okay. I think that world leaders figured out a while ago how to play Trump with flattery of his ego and avarice. It was especially obvious on his Asia trip to the point of being laughable. I donít think the praise he gets from foreign leaders can or should be taken at face value.

How did South Korea play Trump in this instance?

It's only my opinion, but, I'm thinking they want to be placed on that exempt steel tariffs listing so they're trying to stay in its good graces. Just a thought of mine as South Korea is a big exporter of steel to the United States.

Dude, come on, I think you're projecting. I thought you and I buried the hatchet long ago, but some of your responses to my political posts make me wonder if you really did. I've avoided responding to many of your ornery posts (just because I have a different opinion), until enough was enough, so how can I be tweaking you?

Not sure that it matters who ďgets creditĒ for the talks, assuming they happen. What matters is what comes from the talks, and whether commitment sticks long term. Iíll reserve my evaluation of POS until then.

So are you done with me as I'm done fighting with you and I accept responsibility. I'm retired, collecting SS and my health has recently taken a bad turn. I don't have any energy to continue this acrimony. I'm on the 16th or 17th hole of my life so I'm moving on.

Moving forward, I'm assuming your major at your Ivy League school was semantics.

Trump's button tweet was a reminder of the reality of the force that he has at his disposal. Un doesn't need to see missiles, troops, etc. to know we have them, but a simple tweet is a harsh reminder of what we are capable of.

Put another way, if you and I were real life enemies, and you were aware my softball sized deltoids, chiseled jawline, and spectacular hair, would I really need to send you a new picture to remind you of the danger you are in? Of course not.
Hideki Matsui is capable of anything
