Frazier probably would have made a lot of other teams out of the spring

If people previously thought, or somehow still think, his offensive potential was/is "25 homers and very hard lineouts/grounders" I can see why they are eager to trade him while he's cooking.

Frazier hitting over .280/.900+ OPS over his last 30 days. Can't imagine he'd stay in AAA longer than two more months at this rate.

When Judge figured out IL pitching last season, he was hitting a HR every 18.5 at-bats. So far this year, Frazier is launching one every 17.9 at-bats. He's gonna be good.

Cameraman lost the ball because it was hit so far. The commentator said "he almost hit himself in the nose" on the video board; that it hit just to left of his picture, on the Pepsi sign. He also said there was an audible, reaction from the crowd when he hit it - "you could here the fans - the oooohs and the aaaahs - EVERYONE knew that ball was headed for parts unknown."

What I noticed about Frazier's swing setup that's different, he hasn't been doing the toe tap before he swings, and he's way more into his legs now.

I don't care if we give him away practically for free, I want Headley gone and Torres called up by July.

I believe Torres has played five games in a row at 3B, including all three he's been in Scranton. Headley's days look numbered, looking forward to that.

And Adams too. If we make a playoff run, he could be essential.

But preferable I want the Yankees to get Geritt Cole without giving up Torres. Maybe trade Frazier?

Top of 7th, man on third and 2 outs. Torres ahead in the count 3-1. He's probably anticipating a heater, but gets a change. And gets fooled badly on the swing and miss.

A 3-1 change. Welcome to triple-A. On the next pitch, the pitcher doubles up on another change. Torres commits, but his hands stay back enough to punch it to left for a 2-out RBI single.

That was a nice sequence. Quick learning curve and he's only 20 years old.

Who is being bumped from the rotation? Sabathia is the only real possibility and he has pitched well twice in a row now, that will be a tricky move if it happens before the end of the year.

I'm a big Chance fan, but I don't think he's ready for a shot yet, he needs to get his pitch counts down and get through six innings more often (three times in nine starts so far this year). Since he's not on the 40 man (and doesn't have to be this winter either), I think unless he is absolutely dominant going forward, guys already on the 40 man like German and maybe even Herrera would get a call before him. I think Adams will get every chance to make the rotation out of spring training next year, though, like Montgomery did this year.

it seems to me that right now his swing is quicker to the ball and a lot cleaner compared to when he first came over in 2016. the torque (which generates the feet shuffling) is far more balanced and controlled.

don't really see the lower crouch in this particular swing.
